Located in Corning’s historic Southside. This 121 yr old home was renovated in 2022. It is a 2 story 2BR 1 bath, with a dining room, living room and kitchen. The master BR has a King bed and walk in closet. The 2nd BR sits across the hallway and is smaller and has a full size bed. The bathroom was completely renovated it features a walk in shower with ample lighting. A separate XL studio apt is in the back of the home w/ a full bath, kitchen and bedrooms. I loved the apartment! It was clean, cozy, and just right for one or two people. The bed was SO comfortable, and I really appreciated touches like boxes of tissues and to-go coffee cups that were provided. The front porch furniture was also appreciated, although the weather didn't cooperate so I didn't get to use it much! This place was perfect for me to come back to after Glassfest and just relax.

This was our first time in the finger lakes. Dan’s place was a perfect location outside of Corning NY ..but very close to downtown Corning , 25 minutes to Watkins Glen and close to all surrounding lakes. His place was beautifully decorated, comfortable , and clean. Nice sized space for two people - large bathroom and bedroom area with a great outdoor deck. This was our home base for all activities in the area. It was equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator and keurig. It was perfect ! We will be coming again to stay with Dan for future adventures in the finger lakes .

Chris and Ron are wonderful hosts. They were kind and offered assistance if we needed it, which we really didn’t. They definitely have the place set up with lots of helpful notes providing assistance with light locations, how to turn things on and off, etc. We loved the map of the property, hand drawn by one of their sons! Staying in the suite was a very private, peaceful experience, and we are very grateful for our time there. The location in the woods speaks to me, as I grew up in a remote area of Vermont, and spent a lot of time in the woods. We didn’t have an opportunity to take Ron up on the pizza offer, but we will on another visit! Thank you, Ron and Chris!

The house had everything our group needed for our stay in Corning for the 2024 Wineglass Marathon weekend. It is secluded and private but close to town and spacious with beautiful surroundings. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen whipping up pre- and post-race meals and had all the kitchen essentials we needed. Bedrooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside around fire pit and relaxing in the sitting areas. We would book again!
