Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South Carolina

We had a lovely stay at Chris' lake front home. It was beautiful inside and out, lovely neighbourhood and Chris and the team were so responsive and helpful. We had plenty of space and the amenities were great too - kayaks, lots of outdoor seating, fire pit, etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

We had a great time at Camp Q. We wanted a relaxing getaway with our kids and dog that's what we got. We fished everyday. Took a couple of kayak trips. Everything was there for us to cook meals in the kitchen and grill outside. The weather was questionable for a day but there were games and movies to watch. The snacks were a big hit for my kids, so thank you!!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this lake house! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! Yard was beautiful. Pool was our favorite hangout spot and was very clean with plenty of room for our big family. The beds were comfortable! Bath tub upstairs was awesome for a soak after a long day in the sun. My family enjoyed kayaking the lake together, and the back porch was a vibe!!! Could not recommend this place more. We will be back!

What a sweet little house. It was the perfect place for our stay near Lander. The place was spotless and everything we needed was there . Thank you for a wonderful experience

Pretty spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors for a quick getaway.

Nathan, the host, was very quick to respond with any questions we had which was nice. The house is at the most perfect location. A very chill and relaxing area, almost no boat traffic in the area (at least when we stayed).It’s also not that far away from grocery stores, restaurants and some fishing stores. The house has almost every accommodation you could need and was spotless when we got there. The highlight of this house was the personal boat ramp and kayaks. The mini golf set up was super cute and the corn hole boards were nice to have for some outdoor fun. Also the hot tub and fire pit was a 10/10 after jumping in the cold lake. They provide so many activities for you to do. I loved that they had extra blankets and a whole basket of beach towels for guests. The only thing I think I would change is I wish there were more outdoor lights by the dock or firepit so you could see at night when fishing. This place was perfect for our family coming into town and we made lots of memories!

Michael’s place exceeded our expectations from the moment we walk through the door. It was spacious, clean, and we felt like we were right at home. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature were great. We would definitely stay here again in the future and recommend to our family and friends.

We had such a great stay here! Paul and Christine were wonderful hosts who were very welcoming of us and our 10 year old chatty Corgi mix. There are plenty of outdoor spaces to hang out in, including a beautiful enclosed dog run in the back that has a hammock, chairs and garden. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. The neighborhood is quiet and dog-friendly, and walkable to nearby restaurants (we drove because of the dog). The location is perfect for Murrells Inlet and the drive to the beach was only about 10 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!

A nice, cozy and clean place.

We choose this location based on previous reviews. It was close to where we wanted to be. It was walkable to the Southern Brewery as well as Graham’s Landing. We had a wonderful time at the brewery and our server was amazing. Robin. Friendly and just made you feel like friends. We went to Gio”s and my dinner was amazing. Or server here, Lexi also very attentive. We really enjoyed being able to use the pass to Huntington Beach/State Park. We were on the beach as well as walked it everyday. Once full, it closes. So, getting there before 12 worked. We also did the free crocodile walk and learned a lot. Saw some in the water and a big one crossed the path. That was exciting. Lots of birds too. So for those who like to take pictures bring your camera. With the park pass we were also aloud to take the Mansion tour for free using the pass. We did the guided one and got a lot out of it. And again if you’re into pictures there plenty of stuff in the back yard. Sunrises. Birds. Comfy bed. Clean.

I recommend Gerard’s place to anyone looking for a quiet place in Murrells inlet. The main thing that impressed me, other than the view, was how clean and well kept the house is. I don’t even walk barefoot in my own home, but I did at Gerard’s place without hesitation. Thanks again Gerard and Gail.

We chose this house based on location to Daniel Island because we were in town to attend concerts. Conveniently located (quick 10 minute drive to venue) and everything we needed. Michael was very proactive with check-in details.

We had a wonderful stay at Sailor’s Rest. It’s a great location for families with young kids. We enjoyed the pool, fresh eggs, fish & walkable gardens. The beach was only apx a 10min drive, and the access card they give you made it very easy. 10/10 would recommend

We stayed here after our busy wedding weekend and I'm so glad we did. After the first day, we decided to extend our stay another day. The property is beautiful, the family is nice and so are the animals. It was refreshing to live life without technology and just enjoy the serene surroundings. I loved every minute of it, and all of the little details Melodie made time to do. We'll become regulars returning more often in the future. Thanks so much Melodie for being awesome!

Michael has done a wonderful job at preserving time gone by that most of us tend to forget about in our day to day bustles. It all had to start somewhere. When you sit by the fireplace or on the front porch your mind wanders on how many people over the last 200 years have sat in these same places carrying out their daily chores and activities on their homesteads in the rigors of everyday life back then. The lake is very peaceful and the fishing was good. The massive oak forests gleam with wildlife from every perspective. If you want to step back in time, don't mind a critter or two being inclusive as to why you are there and you want serious peace and quiet this is the place to go. Thoroughly enjoyed and would stay there again.

Yes you get no service, but I had a wonderful time here very quiet & peaceful days with my wife. A lot to do and everything around is 10-45 minutes, a lot of good spots for sure. One thing, the drive way is an uphill, and my truck is a lower F-150 RWD so it did slip a little getting up after the 2-3rd day being/because it rain and it's gravel road. Y'all should definitely try "taco riendo", we got lucky as "lighthouse" lost power and I per chance saw they still had power really good place.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

This lakefront cottage far exceeded expectations! We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t feel the need to leave once. We spent all our waking hours enjoying the great outdoor space - the lake, yard, dock are tremendous. The inside is clean, comfortable, and so well stocked with everything you could need (including great wifi!). We left feeling completely relaxed and can’t wait to book again. Thanks for sharing such a charming property with us!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Napaw Mountain, a charming cabin nestled in the mountains. The name, a sweet tribute to Nana and Papaw, set the tone for a cozy and welcoming experience. The cabin offers a great balance of seclusion and convenience—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to hiking trails and diners just a short drive away. The hosts provided thoughtful touches like marshmallows and roasting sticks for the firepit, which is surrounded by soft lighting, creating a lovely evening atmosphere. We enjoyed the on-site hike to the water, and dipping our feet in the cool water afterward was the perfect reward. The hammocks on the deck were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cabin is clearly made with love, and the hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s a peaceful retreat ideal for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. Overall, a great place to relax and recharge.
