A Little Luxury Home in the Center of Eymet

Bienvenue chez nous. Gîte Castellaneta is over 500 years old but has been remodeled many times since it was first built. We just did it again in 2019! It's a cute little medieval 2 bedroom house. The master has a king bed and the front bedroom has 2 twins which can be reconfigured as a super king. Both have new en-suite bathrooms and the downstairs has been completely remodeled with kitchen, dining & sitting areas plus a WC and washer. And there's a lovely, intimate private courtyard.

The house is located in the center of a charming village perched on a hilltop, with a nice little sunny garden and swimming pool that welcome you for long and pleasant moments of relaxation in complete serenity!

Discover a haven of peace nestled in the south of the Dordogne, where authenticity and modernity meet. Our barn, renovated by the family, combines the charm of old stones with modern comfort. It received the regional wood construction award. It offers a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. The house, at the end of a private driveway of 150 m, is 1 km from Lake Escourou, ideal for walking, and 2 km from the bastide of Eymet, with shops and many restaurants.

This charming little traditional stone house is very cosy, comfortable while being sober and ecological in the same time. I am happy to share it with travelers who appreciate simplicity and proximity to nature. The house is equipped with a very good wood stove, with exposed beams on the ceiling and terracotta tiles on the floor. The house is hot and cosy in winter, and cool in summer (Possibility to pick you up at the train station or airport for small extra fees)

If you like local tourism, you will love visiting the surrounding medieval Bastides (Eymet), getting lost in the hiking trails, fishing, discovering the wines of Bergerac or Bordeaux, savoring the good regional food. Finally, if you aspire to a stay of pure relaxation, where it is good to live doing nothing, the cottage will be your haven of peace, quiet, by the pool.

There is everything you need to cook or enjoy a moment of rest and you can visit the farm as well as the surrounding paths. You can park one or more cars right out front.
