we had a lovely stay at the Moulin aux Ans, the accommodation is very cute, overlooking the waterway, the environment is quiet and very pretty. the pool available is great (to share with the other cottages). small outdoor terrace very nice and several garden lounges available on the site. Valerie gave us some great tips on the surroundings and told us about some good restaurants.

Beautiful house close to supermarket. Many Privacy and lovely swimming pool. Jaqcues responded almost immediately when we sent him a message. Typical warm French house.

Great week-long stay. The place is charming, good location and quite quiet. The cottage only offers two accommodations, one of which was unoccupied, so we were able to enjoy the latter alone. Patrick is extremely friendly, we didn't ask him but I'm sure we could have if needed. Thanks to him. I would highly recommend the place.

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

An idyllic stay by the Lot We had an absolutely enchanting stay at this beautiful little cottage. The calm and serenity of the place make it a true haven of peace. Ideal for families with children, the cottage is comfortable and private access to the Lot river is a major asset. It's perfect for swimming or just enjoying nature. Whether for a family weekend or a romantic getaway, this place is a gem. We highly recommend it and hope to come back!

Le Gîte Le Cantou, hosted by Patricia and Didier, is a delightful find that made our stay truly special. Their hospitality is spot-on—discreet yet always there when you need them, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The gîte is impeccably clean, which immediately put us at ease. While the kitchen is quite small, the cookware is a standout, with high-quality pots, pans, and utensils that make cooking a pleasure despite the compact space. The location is a real highlight. Nestled in a quiet private garden, the gîte feels like a peaceful retreat, yet it’s just a short walk to nearby shops. The balance of seclusion and convenience is perfect. The walking trails right from the doorstep are stunning, winding through lush green countryside that feels refreshing and serene. The local farmers’ markets are a treat, packed with fresh produce and delicious regional specialties that inspired our meals. Patricia and Didier have created a lovely, comfortable escape, and we’d happily return.

The best lodging we've had on this month long trip to France. Beautifully and comfortably decorated, private but close to all the things, the best sleep I've had in years, wonderfully appointed kitchen. Heads up that there is a washer but no dryer, but we managed fine with the very large drying rack provided. Would not hesitate to recommend, I wish I had spent more of my time here.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

We loved the beautifully renovated old little house with these 2 terraces. Breakfasts outside with a view and calm were appreciable. Jeremy made us taste his great ginger drink, a treat. Jeremy and Laurie thought of all our comforts. It's rare to be as comfortable as at home. Thank you and congratulations to you.

It is a great and homely furnished home. Lots of privacy, and beautiful views from really any space! We immediately felt at home. At the beginning we had a request to Nathalie, which was immediately arranged for us, really great. In short: highly recommended, also because it is a perfect base for the area between the rivers Dordogne and the Vésère, near the beautiful town of Sarlat.

Pool is about 8m long & 1.25m deep and was perfect for us in the warm weather, while the stone building keeps cool during the day. Secluded rear courtyard with umbrella is nice for outdoor meals. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town, so a car is essential. One (nice) restaurant within walking distance.

We had a great time at Adrien and Cédric's. The accommodation is in a great location: close to a beautiful river, close to Sarlat and many of the area's must-see tourist sites. The place is extremely quiet, perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing. The accommodation is very well equipped, everything is designed to make you feel at home. Nothing is missing, whether for cooking, relaxing or enjoying the outdoors. A big thank you to Adrien and Cédric for their warm welcome and availability. They are very caring while remaining discreet, which makes the experience even better. We highly recommend this listing and hope to return! 🙂
