Family-friendly vacation rentals in Souda

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Unser Aufenthalt in Chania war wunderbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Aussenbereiche wunderschön. Ioanna war sehr gut erreichbar und freundlich.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Manos House verbracht, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, es hat einen sehr schönen Garten in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. Abends haben wir bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon gesessen auf und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Stavros ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort in dem man sehr schnell in den Urlaubsmodus kommt und die Zeit einfach nur genießen kann. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem wunderschönen, traditionellen Haus. Wir liebten es! Es ist sehr geräumig, draußen wie wie drinnen gibt es viele Sitzmöglichkeiten. Alles ist sehr sauber und es waren sehr viele Extras vorhanden. Inmitten alter Olivenbäume konnten wir im Schatten entspannen und die Stille genießen. Der kleine Pool war perfekt für eine Erfrischung! Es gibt einige Restaurants, welche wir zu Fuß durch die griechische Landschaft erreichen konnten. Einige der schönsten Strände waren gut erreichbar. Viele Empfehlungen erhielten wir von der tollen Gastgeberin. Dimitra hatte uns herzlich empfangen und uns mit Köstlichkeiten versorgt. Sogar der Kühlschrank war mit kleinen Annehmlichkeiten gefüllt, sodass wir nach der Anreise Essen und Entspannen konnten. So einen großzügigen Empfang haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Wir können es sehr empfehlen und möchten wiederkommen!

Cannot overstate what a great experience this was, thanks to the atmosphere of the place and to Giannis's kind and attentive hosting. Beautiful accommodation on 3 floors, with indoor and outdoor spaces. We were in the heart of the lively Old Town, yet felt private and quiet at night. Ideal base from which to explore western Crete.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). El apartamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos, la terraza es enorme, muy fresca, cómoda para desayunar, comer o cenar viendo el mar. Costas siempre estuvo disponible, y nos dejó una cesta de frutas, magdalenas y chocolatinas. La zona es fantástica para pasar unos días y conocer parte de la isla, es una zona turística pero muy tranquila y cómoda, alado del precioso pueblo de Chania, la Canea que es maravilloso y desde el apartamento se puede llegar andando con un precioso paseo de una hora, en coche son menos de 10 minutos y en autobús que para alado de casa también. Todo muy cómodo. La playa también está bien y la de alado es muy bonita.

Andreas und Georgia waren unglaublich gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn man Fragen hatte. Gleichzeitig haben sie einem aber auch alle Freiheiten gelassen. Besonders schön fand ich die kleinen persönlichen Aufmerksamkeiten, die den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht haben. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles – ihr seid fantastische Gastgeber!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Stayed here from June 9 - June 13, our reservation was for two people. Mano was very kind and accommodating to us. We took a ferry to Heraklion, rented a car, and drove to the Airbnb. No trouble finding it, and having a private parking space in this location is a HUGE plus! Chania parking and driving is very chaotic. Airbnb was very generously stocked with espresso pods, Ouzo, items from the hosts bakery (the banana bread was incredible), a bottle of water, and more. Everything we needed! Excellent local recommendations and a super market within a short walk. Everything worked perfectly and was very clean too! Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war einwandfrei. Wir haben uns sehr über den vegetarischen Pie und alles andere, was er zur Verfügung gestellt hat, gefreut. Es gab frisches Obst, Tomaten etc. sehr zuvorkommend. Man kann vom Standort aus zahlreiche Ausflüge machen. Der Garten ist weitläufig. Es war alles tiptop. Vielen Dank an Ioannis, seiner Frau und vor allem seiner Mama für den sehr leckeren Pie!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Four friends and I stayed in this rustic, charming, beautiful and overall homie space for 7 days while we attending a wedding and we all unanimously could not have been more happy! This is a space that you feel so great walking into over and over. I had the best meal of my life with the entire party literally around the corner… maybe 20 steps and we were all in glee. The entire area in old town is gorgeous. You cannot see it any other way. There is a vibe to match your needs somewhere around another corner no matter what you look for on your trip. Shopping was excellent. The feeling of safety was consistent throughout the trip. People are friendly and common throughout the town even throughout the wee morning hours as many places do stay open quite late to always provide an option. I had said by day 1 I knew I would already come back here. Vassilis was a proactive and responsive gentleman in hosting. Truly a pleasure to deal with him and I really do hope to return for vacation. Wir wurden sofort super herzlich vom Vermieter empfangen. Die Unterkunft war traumhaft schön, der Anblick kaum zu beschreiben. Die Zimmer und die Anlage waren sehr gepflegt. Der Vermieter super nett, aber gar nicht aufdringlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Je recherchai un hébergement de qualité supérieure sur Chania avec toutes les commodités et je suis tombée sur cette location qui répondait à mes attentes avec cerise sur le gâteau cette jolie petite piscine privée chauffée. La maison est magnifique, spacieuse, la déco est juste ce qu'il faut et tout y est en terme d'équipements. On se sent comme a la maison. Ce fût un vrai coup de coeur aussi pour la piscine et pour la plage à proximité (Koum Kapi), pas de parasols à perte de vue, une jolie plage aux eaux cristallines, des bars et restaurants pas loin et des locaux mélangé aux touristes sur la plage. J'ai adoré cet endroit. Je voulais un lieux à proximité de la vieille ville et calme c'était vraiment parfait. Je recommande à 100%. Nassos's was a great host, provided link and websites to use for bookings. Was always responsive and also accommodate all my requests at his best. We did not stay long to use the pool, but have to say one of the best looking and cleanest pool I have seen in Crete!

Nektaria et Nikos sont des hôtes exceptionnels - accueillants, attentionnés et généreux avec leurs conseils et produits maison (confitures, fruits frais et raki), on l'impression d'être reçu par des membres de la famille. La maison est parfait et rien ne manque et elle se trouve dans un emplacement idéal pour se détendre tout en restant proche des principales attractions de la partie Ouest de la Crete. We hebben 14 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in het verblijf van Marilena. Vanaf het eerste moment voelden we ons ontzettend welkom. Marilena is niet alleen ontzettend gastvrij en vriendelijk, maar ook bijzonder lief en leuk tegen kinderen. De accommodatie was brandschoon en goed verzorgd. Het privézwembad was een absoluut hoogtepunt: elke ochtend werd het zorgvuldig schoongemaakt door Marilena zelf. Wat we ook erg waardeerden, was dat ze tussentijds – uiteraard in overleg – het huis kwam schoonmaken. Echt topservice! Je merkt aan alles dat Marilena dit met liefde doet en oog heeft voor haar gasten. Kortom: een fantastische plek om te verblijven met een gastvrouw die echt het verschil maakt. We komen hier zeker graag nog eens terug!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.
