That’s intentional. You light the sauna, pump water from the lake, and cook on gas or an open fire at the laavu. Note: this stay requires basic outdoor skills. You must be comfortable making fires, bringing your own sheets and drinking water, and doing the final cleaning before checkout.

The cottage is mainly for our own use, but we make the cottage and the beach area available for the guest's use for the duration of the booking.

Vuokatti is 7 km away, and it can also be reached by bus. In front of the house, there is a dock where you can swim or paddleboard. You can also go fishing. You can keep your bike safe at night and take trips in the beautiful scenery during the day.
