Tours: The castles of Bricquebec and Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte are medieval works that are worth checking out, with its 11th century keep, Bricquebec has obtained the "City of Art and History" label and the city of Saint-Sauveur was the creative refuge of Barbey d'Aurevilly. Sensitive to local architecture, walk to the church of Vrétot and take the opportunity to tour this ancient village with beautiful views of the countryside. Hiking, cycling or horseback riding, high tides for shore fishing. The Cité de la Mer de Cherbourg and its beautiful aquarium, the white sandy beaches of the west coast, the nearest is only 12 km away. Carteret is one of the most beautiful local seaside resorts. Beaches steeped in history like Utah Beach, close to Sainte-Mère Eglise, are very popular. Also, don't forget to stock up at the "Maison du Biscuit" in Sortosville-en-Beaumont, just 3 km away, before leaving Normandy, the landscapes of La Hague and Val de Saire. The House is close to the beach (1.8 km) (20mm walk)and Le Bourg (500 m).You will appreciate this accommodation for its layout, its amenities. Small detached house with barbecue and private garden that is safe for children and animals and where you can park your vehicule. 2 bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms and toilets including 1 on the ground floor and 1 on the floor which allows to preserve its intimacy. For your pleasure, do not hesitate to light the fireplace with insert but, nevertheless very nice.

The little house in the dunes

The small house of the dunes is located at the foot of the immense beaches of Barneville-Carteret, opposite the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey…) Close to the village and its shops. (5-minute drive - 15-minute walk). The accommodation is located in a quiet and pedestrian hamlet with 4 tennis courts (private) and a petanque court. The beach is very close to the house (10-minute walk). The small house of the dunes is classified as furnished tourist accommodation (3 stars).

Cosy, rural, comfortable apartment plus terrace.

Our ground-floor apartment is close to Barneville-Carteret - sea plus forest. This apartment is entirely separate and a completely private space with its own bathroom and small kitchen. There is one king-size bed, or this can split into two single beds - please advise preferences. Sunny enclosed terrace. The apartment does adjoin the gite and our house next to it, so some minimal noise is possible between the internal walls of the properties.

Ideally located north of the Cotentin peninsula, it will allow you to enjoy the many beaches and hiking trails, to taste the pleasures of shore fishing or local markets. The furnished terrace will invite you to relax or read.

Small single house between Les Pieux and Barneville-Carteret. Located 1 km from the beach and 3 km from small shops (bakery, grocery store, hairdresser) ideally located. Supermarket 10 minutes by car. For the summer break, July and August, reservations are for a minimum of one week.
