Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sorges-et-Ligueux-en-Périgord

The house is located in a quiet area amidst greenery and birds. It is independent of Christian and Christine's house located just behind. The house is very well-equipped and comfortable inside and outside (garden furniture, deckchair, petanque court, etc.). We were warmly welcomed and Christian's advice was invaluable. We enjoyed the tranquility of the place and made many visits and walks in the surroundings. In short, a pleasant stay and beautiful encounters.

We had a brilliant week at David and Jo's. The cottage was beautiful, with gorgeous old features but also up to date and pristine. Photos make it look lovely but it's even better in real life! Everything you need, including sharp kitchen knives and the most comfortable bed I've slept in in a while. Stunning surroundings and so peaceful. Had great fun in the pool and trying to play tennis! Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. David and Jo were such lovely, kind hosts. Have already recommended it to friends and family. Really hope we get to return.

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very peaceful place. Beautiful garden around the pool (large) Great jacuzzi. Tastefully furnished accommodation Very good bedding. Functional kitchen with a large fridge and freezer. Everything very well-equipped. Very welcoming owners. Ideal location in the middle of nature and close to everything for shopping. To visit the Périgord, it's central to visit all parts of the Périgord (green, white, black, purple). We want to come back. We'll be there again.

From our initial enquiry Thomas was responsive and helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Thomas and felt straight at home. The house itself is equipped with everything you would need and the decor is lovely throughout. The area around the house is vast and there are many different spots to sit and relax. There is some traffic noise to be heard from the road. From the canoes sailing down the river to the hot air balloons and the incredible scenery, it’s just magnificent. The house is well situated near to dozens of local villages, gardens, castles, shops and restaurants. We weren’t short of anything to do for the 2 weeks we were here. Thank you for creating such a beautiful home in the Dordoigne.

A very nice, spacious, comfortable apartment which met all our needs. Communication was very clear and helpful. From the place you are in the middle of the city centre in about two minutes walk. Also parking instructions were very helpful. Very good price/quality, would recommend to everyone!

Small accommodation very well equipped and very clean. Perfectly matches the photos. Ideally located, at the Mataguerre tower, which gives you direct access to the old town. Also close to the Tower of Vesone. Feel free to visit the cathedral's rooftops. Lucine is very responsive, I highly recommend this listing.

Lovely apartment in a listed building. Ideal for couple. The hosts are very welcoming and know how to host. Their love and consideration for pets sets them apart from the rest of the hosts. The accommodation is divinely well maintained and perfectly located. I would recommend it without hesitation.

A charming apartment in the old centre. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The view from both windows were lovely. The location was excellent. Périgueux was like peeling back the layers of an onion surprising us with scenic river walks, the many different ages and architecture of old buildings and the amazing gastronomy available.

A stop over as we travelled to Spain. A beautiful, traditional French house, just what I’ve always wanted to stay in.

clean, functional and welcoming accommodation. located in a small quiet and peaceful street. very good mattress. high-quality linens that smelled like laundry... Michel was not present when we arrived, but had sent us clear and precise explanations for entering the accommodation. very responsive to our messages. a homemade aperitif was waiting for us in the fridge... nice touch. little extra, the private parking space. everything was perfect. thank you.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Lucia's place was very spacious and very clean.well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lucia always answered. our questions within ten minutes. The best host! I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area!

Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!
