We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building care, environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of the egg oil temperature adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 1800s. Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, lake view with proximity to comfortable forest walks with marked trails and sandy beach for swimming. The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge. Meet spring in scenic Dalarna!

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunset is an extra plus. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: The ice is now March 19 still thick, but can start to become landless facing south. The snow about 10 cm. Any ski tracks nearby. Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away.

In Stora Skedvi as in a hub about 20-30 minutes drive to Borlänge, Falun, Säter, Hedemora and Romme Alpin is this newly built cottage. With nature just outside the door and about 10 minutes walking distance to swimming, fishing (fishing license required) forest walks or just take a walk on the endless gravel roads. If you bring your own cross-country skis, it's basically only to start outside the door of the cottage if only the right snow conditions exist.
