House vacation rentals in Sopela

12 of us stayed with Mari Luz and had a great time. Everyone was comfortable and felt at home for the 4 nights we were there. At first I was worried that we might disturb Mari Luz but we didn't receive any complaints despite 1 or 2 late nights drinking around the dinner table. Also I'm extremely glad we stayed in Castro Urdiales instead of Bilbao since Castro was a much more relaxing and hospitable place and Bilbao was only a 30 min bus away anyway.

It was all spectacular; the location, the house, the garden... It was a weekend of friends and we all liked it. Also, I have brought 3 b*****s who enjoyed it with the very good care and fenced ground. Surely we repeat experience.

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

We were very comfortable in the accommodation. The house was impeccable, it had everything, towels, the kitchen was equipped with all the utensils, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had shampoo and gel. The truth is, we rested and Magda was very friendly.

Lovely home and friendly host - would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, well designed, well equipped and super clean generous 2-story house with pool and large garage close to Bilbao and within 20 minutes of several beautiful beaches and towns along the Basque coast of the Gulf of Biscaya. Great grocery store with local fish and meat specialties close by. Sofia is a wonderful host who provided lots of useful information for us to hit the ground running and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommendable and we will come again when we return to the area.

The atmosphere is incredible, the house is surrounded by nature, it is a place where you can rest and disconnect. The organization of the house is very clear and very complete. Our stay was to experience the Hoznayo 2025 Rally Festival, and to be able to return with so many emotions to such a quiet place was the perfect balance.

The cabin is a spectacular place, with all kinds of details. Nothing is missing and Marta is available for anything you might need. I highly recommend it

We had a wonderful week at Maria’s place! The house was perfect – clean, thoughtfully furnished, and ideal for us and our two toddlers. Everything we needed was there, and we felt at home from the very beginning. The location was great, and communication with Maria was always friendly and easy. Thanks to this lovely accommodation, our family vacation turned into a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended – we’d love to come back!

This a lovely apartment in the middle of a busy and interesting town. Some reviews have mentioned problems with parking, which we have found in a number of Spanish towns and cities. We were lucky to find a parking spot on the street, otherwise it would be possible to unload and find a place elsewhere. Communication with Araceli was great, she responded quickly. The apartment is very comfortable and very well equipped, and our dog enjoyed watching the world go by from the little balcony. It was a great stop for us on our drive to Portugal, being not far from the motorway, but I'm sure there's lots to explore in the area.

We stayed with three small children for four nights. The house and garden is exactly as described. We walked to the town and beach a few times (10-15 minutes walk with small children), and drove a few times as well when the children were tired. Parking in Somo is straightforward. Maria was extremely welcoming and very responsive. She kindly prepared the house to make it welcoming for the children.

Beautiful home with a vibe. Located in a beautiful area in close proximity to the sea and scenic trails.

Lourdes was very welcoming and friendly, spacious accommodation for our group of 18 people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which is very convenient when there are many people. The house is in a very good location. Only downside but for which Lourdes is not responsible, the barking of the neighborhood dogs until late at night. We had a great time! Thanks!

Nice house and in a good location! It's worth the visit...

We traveled as a family, a married couple and two teenagers, the house of the palm trees met all our expectations, the host was always attentive whenever necessary. The cleanliness is impeccable, the living room and sitting area are very spacious and comfortable. Everything is very well equipped, kitchen with plenty of kitchenware, full bathrooms. Impeccable linens, sheets and towels. Very nice views. Highly recommended.

I spent a few days with my family and we were super comfortable. The accommodation was impeccable, communication with Alejandro was excellent and he has facilitated us at all times what we have needed. Quiet and well-connected area, easy to park. I was going not in Bilbao overnight and chose to stay just outside the city. The house is newly refurbished with clean and functional modern furniture. House has everything included to make you feel comfortable and is really quiet. Ainhoa the host was really helpful, even going as far as to book me a taxi and leaving local food delicacies and oranges for our breakfast. A great host and you won’t regret staying there.

Very nice place with easy access to Bilbao city centre. Very friendly hosts who couldn’t of helped any more would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a trip to Bilbao

A great stay in the middle of nature. Iñaki and Ana are very attentive guests who make you feel at home. They provide you with countless recommendations to enjoy the area during your stay. The casita is perfect for spending a few days relaxing as a couple. Thank you for everything!

We had a great time. The txoko has everything you need and is the perfect place to eat. The kids really enjoyed the garden. It's a quiet area, perfect for families.

It was so nice to be greeted by Ainara. I really appreciate that. I also enjoyed the cozy, homey feeling of the apartment. The place offers everything you might need. It is centrally located close to nice bars and restaurants and with a very nice view!

We were very comfortable at Gloria's house. Mari, who welcomed us, was very nice, and showed us the house and its facilities in detail. The house is fully equipped, and is perfect for disconnecting. A very peaceful place and a wonderful landscape. We'll be back!
