Let yourself be awakened by the chirping of birds or warmed by the fireplace in the living room... Charming attic apartment in the countryside with 10 -12 sleeping places. One room with a double bed and a baby bed. A bedroom/children's room with a sofa bed and a "bed corner" with a double bed mattress and 2 children's mattresses, as well as a children's play corner. There is also a cubby with a double bed mattress (can only be reached via a steep rung ladder). In the spacious living room there is a sofa bed.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

The apartment is located in our 18th century forester's house. century, which was completely and lovingly renovated in 2020. Located on the outskirts of the village of Bauhaus, the Waldhessian landscape is ideal for hiking, forest bathing or excursions by e-bike or you can relax in our spacious garden with terrace / balcony. Extra space for games e.g. bridge available. The Bad Hersfelder Festspiele can be reached in 20 minutes. Wartburg, Erfurt, Kassel, Weimar invite you to visit.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Unsere Unterkunft liegt mitten in Deutschland, in der Nähe von Kassel und ist umgeben von Natur. Du wirst sie lieben wegen der himmlischen Ruhe, dem Türchen in den Wald und trotzdem nur 20 km Entfernung nach Kassel mit Auto oder Straßenbahn. Meine Unterkunft ist gut für Paare, alleinreisende Abenteurer, Familien (mit Kindern) und größere Gruppen geeignet. Sofern es sich nicht um unkontrollierbare Kampfhunde handelt sind uns Tiere willkommen und fühlen sich regelmäßig sehr wohl.

Wooden house 13 sqm in the middle of our large orchard with mini kitchen, wood-burning stove, outhouse and solar power. There are 2 beds that can be set up as a double bed or single beds. Consciously kept simple, no TV and Wi-Fi, but plenty of PEACE and NATURE. The garden with swing, fireplace and teepee (in summer) is available. The house is 30 m away and there is a shower room that can be used from 7:30 am to 10 pm and where the dirty dishes can be handed in.

Dear potential guests, Whether in transit, for a little time out or for longer - our spacious, comfortable apartment Elli is quickly accessible and a good place to relax in the evening - e.g. on the balcony with a view. In the village, there is a nice outdoor pool and good gastronomy - around it a lot of forest. Our café serves breakfast weekdays from 6 AM and on weekends from 7 AM.

On the spacious terrace, lounge furniture and an electric barbecue device invites you to relax. A barbecue fireplace is provided about 100m away from the house.
