Family-friendly vacation rentals in Sonian Forest

Lovely spacious apartment; myself and my two teenagers booked a slot in the pool daily; it is a great size to do a full hour of swimming. The pool is brilliantly set out and the sauna looked amazing too. The air con was very responsive, which suited the hot weather. The contactless iPad was easy to use to access any details I needed about the area. The restaurant ‘Comme chez vous’ was a great recommendation, just 1.5km away. We did cross paths with Sebastian outside our accommodation, and he was very friendly. I would recommend this accommodation.

Anne-Marie’s place is amazing. A fully equipped place to stay with an amazing view. Anne Marie as a host was wonderful being responsive and kind each time I contact her. This place has an incredible view of Leuven and it’s perfect to spend a few days in city or a full month as I did. Will recommend staying here and I hope I have the opportunity to come back.

The house is special and is very nicely located in the woods. The house is equipped with everything, making it luxurious: bathrobes, extra blankets, ample amount of towels, down duvets, nice jacuzzi, sauna and heater above the terrace outside. So far the best accommodation I have stayed in. Only downside: to get to the sauna and double bedroom you have to go through another bedroom with 3 separate beds. Wasn't a problem for us. Perfect house, where we had a nice time.

Łukasz is very helpful and well organised. We love the area, so much to do close by and still away from any crowds. The apartment was ideal for our family with kids, with bedroom on separate floor from kitchen/living.

We had a working retreat in Jutta's house with colleagues and it was perfect for that: four gode, quiet rooms, a large table to work on, fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and a garden with tables for outdoor dining and relaxing. That everything was within walking distance of restaurants and bars in the center of Mechelen and that there were bicycles available for quick messages was an extra asset! Jutta was also very friendly and correct and made sure that we could make an arrangement to keep working during the day (after check-out time). We'd love to come back next time!

The whole family loved our stay at Jean-Philippe's place! Would definitely stay there again if we have the chance. The house was huge, very well appointed and accurately described. Location was good, fairly easy walk to the city center or EU with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Jean-Philippe was very accommodating, responsive and helpful, and his pets were the icing on the cake- Nala was the sweetest dog ever!

A lovely apartment with everything you need. It’s in a good location with only a 15 minute walk to a selection of bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Edwige was very quick to respond and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, the recommendations left in the property were also useful.

I am so glad to have stayed in Jean-Luc's place. It is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful garden, swimming pool and his well-equipped villa. Moreover, Jean-Luc is a great host, easy to talk to and answers queries promptly and humbly. You will feel comfortable in his hidden gem. He is so warm and friendly.

We had a great time at this place, really comfortable and spacious. Gaetan and his wife hosted us very well and were able to give us many recommendations (which served us) on the area. They were very friendly and we will not hesitate to come back if we come by again. Thanks again for everything!

Excellent and very practical accommodation.

Nanou and Nicolas were home on arrival and welcomed us very warmly. They had provided some things for us which was very thoughtful (coal for BBQ, some things in the fridge, etc.) The house itself was cozy, tidy, and clean. We had a little less weather that week, but during the sunny days, the garden is wonderful to be. Nanou and Nicolas grow herbs and vegetables themselves. It was nice that we could eat these herbs while cooking, on the BBQ, etc. The pool is quite large and clean. Communication with Nanou was very punctual. Both people were traveling but a message or a question was always provided with an answer! We definitely recommend a stay there!

Had a super stay at Emilie & Karim's. Very nice garden for the kids and lovely terrace. Practical and convenient kitchen. Quick responses to questions and very friendly. We enjoyed our family weekend very much and would love to come back.

Great stay. The place was as described in the listing. Very impressed with the size of the house, especially the ceiling. All amenities are provided and we had a chance to try out the pool. Beds are comfortable so we all had good night sleep. Peter was an excellent host, welcoming us with open arms. Showed us around the house which was appreciated as it was pretty big and can be daunting for someone who just stepped in. Thanks again!
