We are centrally located on MDI - close to ponds, lakes and the Atlantic, hiking in Acadia as well as near coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. This home is the perfect spot for soaking up all our island has to offer.

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.

In 10 minutes, you reach trails, carriage roads, lakes restaurants and more. The 2 bedroom home, which sleeps 4, has an open floorplan, high ceilings and custom kitchen. Two full bathrooms, including one with a jet tub, two decks, a porch and fire pit provide options for relaxing when not exploring the island.
