We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

A beautiful rustic cabin in an amazing spot. Lori is a great host and is always near in her farmhouse to communicate and get you what you need. Appleton is not far from Camden / Rockland but has that rustic getaway feel. The option of adding a wonderful soak in the hot tub, wood fired sauna, massage and breakfast are available as well. I’ll be back next year! Thank you for everything, Lori!

We loved our stay at this charming lakeside cabin! The perfect blend of rustic appeal and modern comforts made it an ideal getaway. While it felt authentically cozy and tucked away, the thoughtful amenities—like reliable Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and an easy-to-use coffee machine—made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. The outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit, especially situated right next to the fire pit—there's nothing quite like soaking under the stars after roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Mornings were just as memorable, sipping coffee from the swinging bench overlooking a truly stunning lake view. The location was also ideal, just a short drive from fun eateries in Bar Harbor and the beautiful trails of Acadia National Park, offering us plenty of opportunities for exploration. The hosts were fantastic, quickly responding to all our questions and making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful house that was perfect for me, my husband, and 2 kids. The dock access is great - there's a bait shop closeby (Old Town Trading Post) where we got some fishing poles and bait. My son loved fishing everyday and we took the canoes out around the pond. The house has life vests too which was perfect for the kids. The dock has 2 chairs on it already. We used the screened in porch to watch the birds (and not get bitten by mosquitos). Make sure you bring/buy bug spray in the warmer months and an eye mask if you're a light sleeper. The sun rises quite early (5am) in the summer and the bedrooms are on the second floor and get a lot of light. We used the hot tub every day - the house has tons of towels for the 4 bathrooms and hot tub. There's a grocery store (Hannaford) about 20 minutes away. We hiked in Acadia National Park one day - it's about a 1.5 hour drive. A great house and location if you love being outside!

Amazing relaxing stay! Beach is a short walk. Everything you needed to enjoy your stay was there even cream for the coffee!

Cool private place with a hot tub! We stayed for one night and it was perfect for our needs.

I wish I could give this place and host more than 5 stars! Deirdre was incredibly sweet and extremely fast to respond to any questions we had. The cabin was cozy, clean, and just what we were looking for! Our trip revolved around hiking Acadia NP, and while this Airbnb was about an hour drive to the main part of the park, it was WELL worth it. It was away from the busyness and very quiet peaceful and private. Plus it’s only about 15 mins to the Schoodic peninsula! There’s a small path to some rocks you can sit on and relax by the ocean, which after a long day of hiking was perfect! Bonus- We were able to see the northern lights from there!! All in all this place was 10/10 and I highly recommend. If I ever get the chance to return to Maine, I would absolutely love to stay here again!!

Our stay at Blackberry cottage was wonderful — very convenient for visiting Acadia. Suzanne is very sweet, responsive, and helpful (and makes beautiful artwork)!

The cabin Eddie offered was an EXCELLENT get-away. Everything you needed was provided. The cabin was spotless. Everything clean. Very comfortable stay indeed. Plan on a return visit and hopefully with other members of the family. Eddie was always responsive and polite. A great host, no question. He's done a terrific job with these cabins and the locations is great on the water. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend Eddies cabins.

We loved our stay in Lily's Gypsy Wagon. The wagon was comfy and cozy. The location was breathtaking and we enjoyed the sights and sounds of nature all around us. The campsite had everything we needed including plenty of seating, a wood deck, a firepit and a grill tucked into the trees but overlooking the water. The beach provides an amazing view of the Islands of Acadia national park, and was in a constant state of transformation as the tide came in and out. Our stay was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. Thanks Lily!

We stayed at the Calm Breezes cabin with our 7 month old and two labradoodles. It was perfect for our trip to Acadia, comfortable, quaint, clean and so peaceful /beautiful setting. The town also has amazing restaurants - just a few minutes down the road. Would definitely come back / recommend to anyone visiting Acadia!

Connor was an AMAZING host! From the very beginning, he was always very responsive, and was consistently available to answer my questions promptly. His cabin on the lake was so cozy, it truly felt like our home away from home. It was beautifully decorated, peaceful, serene, well-stocked with anything that one could need. His recommendations were extensive and were very much appreciated. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and really loved being able to stay there with friends for a few days before departing for another excursion. It gave us time to celebrate and make some great memories with them - something that we will always treasure! The worst thing about this cabin? - Having to leave it in the rearview mirror! We were delighted to stay at the Doll's House for our Acadia adventures. The cottage was easy to find on the quiet side of the island. The upstairs had ample room to spread out, featuring a comfortable reading chair and a king-size bed. The kitchen was compact but had everything and more that we needed to prepare meals. Having access to a huge washer and dryer was extremely helpful, as were the pamphlets and large maps. The glass doors from the deck and entrance let in a lot of light and let us enjoy our time between hiking and sightseeing. We are counting on returning some day to enjoy the deck, since we couldn't with the rainy weather we had. Thanks Alan!

I had the most magical time at Judith's cottage. Her land truly feels like a tangible expression of love, warmth, and safety. If you're looking for a refuge that encourages restoration and quality time with nature, this is the perfect place. It was amazing to explore the nature and local recommendations Judith shared, and having the cottage as a space to just rest, read, journal, and enjoy the surroundings was perfect. I highly recommend this cottage, Judith is deeply kind, friendly, and will go out of her way to make you feel at home!

This was a truly magical stay! Peaceful, private, comfortable… The most well thought out and welcoming off-grid lodging I’ve ever stayed in! The cabin itself is spectacular and the surrounding garden and forest are just enchanted. Rod was an incredible host, responsive and so accommodating when I needed to shift my reservation. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Don’t even hesitate on this one!

Anne’s place is a quiet little gem on Mount Desert Island. It was plenty spacious for four people with both indoor and outdoor areas to relax. It’s a perfect spot to stay if you are visiting Acadia and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again!

This Airbnb was a perfect spot for a couple to explore all of Mount Desert Island . We stayed for 6 nights and experienced Maine’s beautiful fall foliage. It was exactly as described - peaceful and private - away from busy bar harbor - but easy enough 15 min drive to and from and to Park entrance. we enjoyed the fire pit, cozy living area and used the kitchen to cook in after busy days on the trail … would highly recommend. And Traveling Lobster right down the road is amuse for Best Lobster Rolls !

Had a wonderful time in the cabin. It was exactly as described. Loved the quaint private location that was very close to Acadia national park. We felt right at home. The evening stars were spectacular.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. The outdoor shower is absolutely incredible; so well crafted! If you’re looking at the listing and hesitant to book due to the toilet situation - don’t be! It was cleaner than quite a few other places we’ve stated that had “real” bathrooms. The cabin itself had everything we needed and more (comfortable bed, extra blankets, anything you’d need to cook simple meals, etc.). Everything was very clean and the rules & checkout instructions were very clear, which was great because that is definitely not always the case when you book a place. Bethany is a gracious and responsive host and the area is incredible. If you’re looking for a place in this area, I highly recommend staying here if it’s available for your dates!

We had such an amazing stay at the Little G! The cottage was absolutely perfect: squeaky clean, peaceful, cozy/comfy, and had ALL the essentials. Terri & Tim truly thought of everything! Each time we opened another drawer or cabinet, we were surprised to find things we didn't even know we needed! We really enjoyed the tub for two and even the refreshing outdoor shower. Though it stayed in the 40s & 50s for our stay (brrrr), the shower was plenty hot! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Can’t say enough amazing things about our stay! The cabin and property are so thoughtfully designed and laid out, it’s so peaceful and relaxing. David & Bill shared local recommendations prior to our trip and all of them were 10/10 - from restaurants to general stores, everywhere we went was a standout. We knew going into it we’d be about an hour from Acadia, so the drive didn’t bother us. We spent our days in Bar Harbor and our evenings near the house, eating at incredible local spots exploring the Sedgwick area. The local snacks upon arrival were really the cherry on top.

Erika & James were wonderful hosts! Their home was so comfortable & clean, had everything we could need. Felt like a home away from home. Cozy blankets, great book collection, and we loved all the board games! Especially fun having all those National Park & Acadia games. The home is very close to many trails & Acadia National Park. Would love to visit again!
