Property is located at Clarklake a public lake and access for swimming/boating can be gained at the public access a few minutes away. This location is wonderful to take walks/ biking with a 7 mile trail around the lake.

Glad to see that you will be visiting our cabin! It is a serene and charming step away from the busy world. Information on hiking trails, local events, and eateries in the area are listed in the cabin. A grill is available, a chiminea on the pergola deck for nightly fires, and also on the deck is a clawfoot bathtub and outside shower (for the brave at heart!!) There is a shower in the cabin, too. Be sure to be on the lookout for the wildlife in the area!!

Reedsong cottage was the perfect get away spot for a relaxing weekend. It was clean and well put together. I can tell a lot of thought was put in to make it feel like home. The lake view was very pretty with the morning sunrise. Golf course was right near the property. Restaurants were just a 5-10 minute drive. Pizza delivery and some DoorDash were a nice option when I just wanted to stay in. It has a full kitchen if you want to cook. I had a question about how to lock the door and Stephanie responded right away with great instructions. Hillsdale has a little bit of everything for a small town. Finish line family diner was great for breakfast. You can tell they scratch cook. Birdies downtown was a very cute little shop. The farmers market seemed busy, but not as busy as the “sale barns.” Hillsdale college has a small but nice campus to drive through. Overall, I had a great time and I found the price to be very reasonable and the stay relaxing. I would stay there again!

We are so happy that we came across this spot. It was absolutely perfect and Rosemary and Doug couldn’t have been more welcoming. We felt right at home. Enjoyed a lot of fishing and peaceful kayaking trips in the morning. Our son loved the tree house and game room. But most of our time was spent on the dock. We had perfect vacation.

The house was pristine, beautiful, spacious, and relaxing. Luxurious and clean. Lots of natural lighting. Indoors was absolutely beautiful but the outdoor space was even more relaxing! We sent most of our time out on the back patio or on the deck by the water. I felt like I was in a nature wildlife with the birds across the channel. So lovely!

This a beautiful home, in a beautiful area.We traveled down here from the UP for my mothers funeral, the house was literally 5 minutes from the church. A beautiful home, and it met all of our needs as a family of 5 along with our dog. Jon was very responsive and helpful, answered all of my questions and in a timely manner.Several people have already asked for the information for the house on Airbnb, for their future visits down.Would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again Jon, your place was a peaceful retreat during a difficult time.

I met Kristen when I arrived. She was very friendly and available if I needed anything. Her home is in a great location, not too far from shopping, restaurants and highway access. Her kitchen is very well stocked with nice dishes, pots and pans, a real plus for me since I typically cook one meal. It’s a beautiful place to stay and I’ll be back!
