We had a great stay on the Hungarian Puszta, it was an ideal place to start exploring the surrounding area with our big dog. It is a very quiet, rural place and we had the luck to spend our time there while the fruit trees were in bloom! Lots of wildlife and beautiful Hungarian nature surrounds you here. Jens and Dana are absolutely amazing hosts and were always ready to help us with any questions or recommendations of the area. We are super grateful for all of their kindness and help! Our only stumbling block was the stairs. They are quite a challenge to get up and down from and as someone who is afraid of heights, this was not completely ideal. However, we did have the option to sleep on the ground floor (pull-out sofa bed), and this was a real savior for us.

We had a great time, pleasant shade, very cozy, the garden was enclosed, which I especially liked. The kitchen was equipped, everything was very clean. The jacuzzi was cold when we got there, it might have been worth telling them to heat it up for the arrival.
