Charming cabin on the water in Saltsjöbaden

Charming cabin that fits up to six people. Please be advised that it is a rather small cabin and not a house, so if you are six adults and not used to Scandinavian cabins it may feel a bit tight. Toilet in the cabin and access to a shower/sauna in an adjacent building and a gazebo in the garden. The cabin was entirely redecorated and a new kitchen installed in September 2019. Most furniture is from 2016. Possible to get to it by public transportation, but even better if you have access to a car.

Alldeles för sig själv, längst bort på vår tomt ligger vår lilla stuga i en skogsglänta. Här är lugnt och tyst. Bara natur och på badrocks avstånd finns en varm badsjö. Hela området genomkorsas av härliga promenadstråk och det är en knapp km ner till havsviken. Herrbret, som vi kallar stugan, har en härlig altan i solläge på framsidan. Allt är fräscht och nybyggt i gammal stil men med modern standard och utrustning. Stugan är avsedd som en skön avkopplande oas för två personer i naturens närhet

Es waren alle hilfsbereit und nett. Gemütliches und uriges kleines Häuschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Stockholm City ist gut mit dem ÖPNV erreichbar, da die Bushaltestelle in unmittelbarer Nähe ist. Der Verkehr von der nahegelegenen Hauptstraße ist im Haus kaum hörbar. Wir konnten sehr gut schlafen. Die Nähe zu den verschiedenen Naturreservaten haben wir ebenfalls sehr genossen und mit unseren Rädern bzw. zu Fuß erkundet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Joakim is an amazing host and very friendly. He greeted us at the check-in, gave detailed house tour and instructions, and even offered us a ride to grocery store after learning our problem with rental car. The rental unit is very clean and cozy, especially ideal for family trip with kids. The neighborhood is quiet and has beautiful scenes. Although a car is highly recommended, there are local buses going into the city and they are reliable. Looking forward to coming back to Stockholm and this place again in the future!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich ein Traum; ein kleines gemütliches Häuschen in einem idyllischen, ruhigen Örtchen, mitten in der Natur und nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß vom Wasser entfernt. Perfekt zum entspannen und Seele baumeln zu lassen. Von dort aus kann man super Radtouren machen, zum Stand gehen oder einen Tagesausflug nach Stockholm machen. Alles Notwendige (Supermarkt, etc.) ist relativ praktisch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar. Außerdem sind Linda und Gustaf wirklich sehr herzliche und liebe Menschen. Sie haben mir viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, was man in der Gegen alles machen und anschauen kann und waren immer total freundlich und hilfsbereit :).

Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und eine wunderbare großzügige Terrasse teilweise sogar mit Blick auf Wasser. Stockholm Zentrum ist prima in ca 30min mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

We had a wonderful stay at their place! The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. Our host Martin was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the beginning. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you for a great swedish experience!
