El Alojamiento de Roberto fue tal como lo describio! La cocineta tenia los utensilios necesarios para cocinar. Ten en cuenta que el lugar està rodeado de vegetaciòn lo que puede traer algunos insectos de visita (solo es de mantener la calma), disfrutamos mucho nadar en el lago, aunque debes tener en cuenta que se deben bajar escalones para llegar al muelle... En terminos generales fue un lugar muy acogedor para reconectar y descansar! :)

Muy bonita la casa, vecindario tranquilo, cerca del muelle, equipada y limpia! Instrucciones claras y buena comunicación con los anfitriones!! Sin duda volveríamos a hospedarnos con Uds.

Michael’s is a start host, a great communicator and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is as easy and enjoyable as possible. He recommends places to shop, eat, and lancha/shuttle services. The groundskeeper Lucas and his family are gems and truly make the house a home. They pick you up at the port in Jaibalito and assist with luggage and his wife Teresa makes the most delicious tortillas. Now for the house! It was beautifully decorated filled with traditional and tasteful decor. The view from the upper balcony is to die for with a spectacular view of the lake and volcanos as well as the amazing house garden. Any time of day, morning, afternoon, or night, it’s sure to be your favorite spot. Amenities were included soap, shampoo, towels, coffee as well as everything you need to cook like pans and spices. We enjoyed reading Michael’s story and history of the house in the house rulebook which contains all you need to know for your stay. You are sure to feel at home here.

I’ve been coming to Guatemala since I was a child, as my family is from here. But in all the years that we’ve been coming, this has been the best experience we’ve had. The home was clean, beautiful, tranquil, and spacious. Our host, Maria, was so amazing and very informative. Yohanna the housekeeper was also amazing! I will be sure to book this home again for when I come back to Guatemala!

This place is marvelous! Great view of the lake from inside the apartment! We had no idea what to expect and it was stunning! The host was very accommodating and the place was affordable! I would recommend and definitely stay again!

Staying at Sevonne’s place was the most beautiful amazing and transformational experience to welcome the new year and the new decade 2020 🤗; For both the three Guatemalans who are in love with Lake Atitlán donde we were kids and have been in many of its spots and towns hundreds of times, as for our foreign friends from Chile and Switzerland who was their first time in the most beautiful lake in the world. The house has one of the most astonishing views of the lake where you can actually rejoice watching the four volcanoes that surround it. No place can beat the sunrises and sunsets at Sevonne’s garden. The beach front is amazing with the most crystal clear water you can get to swim and chill on comfortable chaira that float :). She has the whole shibang! From Kayaks, to an amazing Mayan Sauna Temaxcal where you can clear your lungs and spirit with natural oils and herbs. The property is gorgeous! with a beautiful garden and amazing colorful flowers. It’s perfect either for a family retreat or a gathering with friends. The bedrooms are luxurious and comfortable. I’m still dreaming with those pillows and sheets. The yoga Shala that also be used as a third bedroom is absolutely amazing. You can find incredible literature all over the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with spices and herbs if you want to have an amazing dinner watching the sunset. And you are also nearby the main street of San Marcos to go to its cool restaurants like Vida or Fe or to its local bar and meditation and massage venues. But the best part of it all was the hospitality of Sevonne. Thanks to her we had the most amazing experience during New Year’s eve getting inside of San Marcos Local culture and events. Selina the girl who cleans the house, does an amazing job and she is charming and full of local knowledge for you to get to know more about the lake and it’s towns. I can’t wait to go back to that amazing piece of paradise that Sevonne has created in my favorite place in the world. 🤗

Our group of 6 stayed here 3 nights during our first trip to Guatemala. The property exceeded our expectations in terms of amenities (hot tub, sauna, kayaks, fire pit, hammocks), natural beauty and accommodation. The highlight of the property is the beautiful landscaping and there are numerous locations to sit and enjoy the view of the lake and volcanoes. We walked on the road to San Marcos in 25 minutes or you can flag down a tuktuk. The public ferry dropped us off and picked us up directly at the home’s dock where the on-site caretaker Juan was waiting for us. He helped us with our luggage and was available throughout our stay if we needed anything. The kitchen is ready for cooking and has spices. Best to get groceries in Panajachel before boarding the ferry if you want a one stop market. We loved our stay.

It what’s a great stay for a big group. We love the space. Very peaceful environment. Owner always available. Recommended to come back.

Increíble lugar, las fotos del anuncio son hermosas pero en persona superó las expectativas. La casa muy amplia, con muchos ambientes para que, aunque hayan muchas personas, cada quien puede tener su espacio.Tiene todo lo necesario. El jardín hermoso así como la salida al lago. Muy cerca de Santiago que también la calle principal muy bonita. Don Eduardo muy amable nos apoyó muchísimo. Seguramente volveremos, muchas gracias por todo.

Un lugar privado, tranquilo y muy cómodo. Daniel estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada y brindó instrucciones precisas. Agradecemos los servicios de Erika y Carlos que ayudaron en las necesidades que puedan surgir como limpieza, etc son personas agradables y muy atentas.

La casa es espectacular, con unas vistas maravillosas, Héctor y Gladys fueron súper serviciales y atentos en todo momento! María fue súper comunicativa siempre y la casa estuvo implacable en todo momento durante nuestra estadía con todas las amenidades y comodidades para mi y mí familia. El lugar es un 100/10

La estadía fue perfecta, la casa muy hermosa y 100% lo que se ofrece en las fotografías y aun más. Comunicación rápida y efectiva y un ambiente agradable para todos. 100% recomendado para quien desee pasar un fin de semana o una estadía larga pues la propiedad es una maravilla.

Our family had a wonderful couple weeks here. The house was so comfortable and a perfect place for our family to relax. The view from the home is spectacular and the home is loaded with every amenity we could have wanted (warm pool, hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower, grill, projector for movies, etc.). Additionally, having Elena around during the day to help with the house work was wonderful. We highly recommend this home for a nice relaxing getaway.

Our stay at Casa Eggedal was a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The surroundings are extraordinarily beautiful, with gorgeous gardens. The house is well designed for enjoying the scenery and for relaxing. The kitchen has more dishes and cooking pots/pans than I have at home. Deedle was very responsive and friendly. We loved relaxing in the pool and exploring the areas around the lake. As noted in other reviews, there are LOTS of stairs on the property, so be sure you’re up for that. We loved it and would definitely recommend a stay.

Maison surréelle, presque beaucouptrop grand. Chaque chambre est très privée et les espaces communs accessibles. Le seul problème c’est que la cuisine est tellement grande qu’il y a un echo! Vraiment trop bien pour des grands groupes. Don Rogelio nous manquait tous après quelques jours de retour chez nous !

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was truly unforgettable. The space was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the view of Lake Atitlán was absolutely breathtaking — even better than the photos! We spent our days lounging in the hammocks, sipping wine, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The staff was amazing — so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved that it was walking distance to great local restaurants, which made exploring super easy. The only small downside was that the pillows were a bit too firm for our taste, but everything else more than made up for it. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway, and we’d definitely come back again.

I really enjoyed the place the view of the lake! The Jakuzzi such a perfect thing to do with the view of the lake! Just a small note: that you need to equip the kitchen with pan and pots so people who wanna stay longer can do their food!
