What a great stay! Nelson made sure we had everything we needed, every question was answered and resolved. We loved all the great amenities of the house and felt right at home. I still can't believe how wonderful this place was. If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, this is it. Heavenly. Fast Internet, great host, convenient, clean. Everything about it was perfect.

Absolutely amazing property! The walk from the gate to the house was a beautiful surprise. The third floors had AMAZING views of the lake and mountains. Waking up to the sounds of the birds was a dream. PJ was very understanding to our situation and offered a playpen for the babies. The stay was wonderful. Thank you so much!

the property was beautiful unfortunately we used it for a funeral stay and was not able to use the amenities but the blessing was the entire family was able to stay at the property and they loved it. It was safe and she had comfortable we had a good night's rest after being up 16 hours definitely recommend it she was a great host.

Beautiful home! Nicely decorated and spacious. The pool and sauna was a great touch. The on site manager, Juan, was incredible with anything we asked for or needed. Only feedback is that we would have loved a full length mirror and some days the internet wasn't good. And it can be nosy outside because of the school next door but that's not something the host can really control. We had a fabulous stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone else traveling in the area!

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

The house is very beautiful. A lovely design and filled with beautiful touches and artwork. An amazing view off the veranda, and the gardens are relaxing and full of birds. We all enjoyed the clean pool very much too. Overall it was an amazing place to relax and recharge. There is a walk up to the local village of Santa Clara or tuk tuks to take you up the hill, and the village has a produce market on Saturdays. We also recommend CECAP for great meals with the best view, as well as fair trade traditional handicrafts. It was easy to get a boat at the public dock. It’s probably easiest to arrange your own driver and boat to the private dock as then it’s easy to contact them if they do not turn up or know where to go (problems we had through no fault of the host). Definitely shop in Pana as the shops are very small in Santa Clara. Be aware it was hazy every day for 6 days and apparently this is common in April (or other months too?) because of cane burning. This home was incredible! Not only is the location fantastic - private, right on the lake, easy to drive to, walkable to San Marcos - but it is decorated, furnished and staffed to feel like a luxury getaway. I would recommend taking the staff up on the option to have a chef and massage therapist come during your stay. I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was the perfect getaway for our family and we look forward to returning.

This place was just as described! This place was so peaceful and calm, it was perfect to get away from the busy towns nearby. The only slight inconvenience was having to find a tuktuk to get to the nearby towns as they were not walking distance. We had to start walking until a tuktuk became available. Overall I would totally recommend this place!

Our three night stay at the Glass House was fabulous...beyond words really. It is now our favorite Airbnb in the world! I intentionally chose our stay during April's full moon which created an even more magical experience at the Glass House. We actually had no idea that the view would be so amazing - gazing over Lake Atitlan with views of 3 volcanoes perfectly in the middle of our gaze. The space was absolutely perfect. Accommodations stylish and modern, with amazing interiors and furniture designed by the owners. Loved the fact that the location is so unique and private. One must travel by boat to the property's private dock to access the house. Venturing out to other lakeside pueblos is a quick and inexpensive boat ride away - where a boat taxi can pick you at the dock...you just have to wave a flag for them to come get you. We enjoyed preparing meals in the amazing kitchen overlooking the Lago. So impressive! I could go on and on. If you are lucky to stay here- do not hesitate!

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and private place in Santa Cruz. The view is stunning, the house is breezy and full of natural light, and the garden is an oasis. We worked remotely from the loft above with a view of the lake, and the windows letting in the breeze… the Starlink internet was seamless. Town/dock was 5-10 min walk from the house, and town/ATM was a short tuk tuk ride up the hill. Miguel was extremely helpful, always readily available, communicative and with a great attitude. He met us at the dock in Panajachel with a pre booked private transport and helped bring our bags up to the house. We also booked the private chef experience with Manuela and she was amazing… so sweet, punctual, and made us healthy, tasty lunches to enjoy while we worked. She even made us a refreshing drink with a cucumber from her garden, and set the table for us outside to we could eat while enjoying the nice weather. We learned a lot from chatting with her! Lovely people & stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! Daniel, our concierge, was always a text away and very responsive. Maria the housekeeper was very attentive and helpful, even in exchanging Queztales for us! The house had everything we needed. Just as pictured. Updated decor and fully stocked. Bedrooms and bathrooms were small. The house had no walking access to the lake. The lake views were amazing. We enjoyed the jacuzzi watching the sunset! The way up was very narrow and steep but well worth the spectacular views! Daniel’s instructions on how to get there were very detailed, but I suggest arriving early since the drive up can be tricky, so buy everything you need for your stay before arriving. Daniel helped us rent a boat for the whole day that took us around the lake and to San Juan, a picturesque village on the other side of the lake. Restaurant/bar nearby highly recommend Kinnik in Santa Catarina for drinks and appetizers and the empanadas from Terrazas Rst. Overall, a great stay with family!

The house was beautiful. Right on the lake with Cristal clear water to just jump in when waking up. We loved it!

We felt right at home, a beautiful, quiet, private place. We loved the house. I recommend it 100%. The host was very attentive, and Edgar the guardian was very friendly. They welcome our furry friends, but it's definitely better to bring small pets because the house is so nice, full of flowers, that it's not suitable for large dogs. Ours is a German Shepherd and we were very careful with the garden, but we were always worried about damaging it. But we definitely recommend it, thank you and we hope to be back soon !!!

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect, with easy access to everything including the town center and dock. Our property managers Chris and Kris were incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the stay even better. We arrived at 12:30 and Chris welcomed us and gave us a tour even before our check in time. There are also tons of on-site activities available (for an extra cost), which added so much value to our trip. If you're visiting San Marcos, this is the place to stay. Everything was great, although the bathroom was a little smaller than desired and the shower space was not well designed.

The apartment was as advertised and John was easy to contact. Very friendly and accommodating about the check-in time at the accommodation. It was perfect.

Look no further!! This is your rental on Lake Atitlan! The place is spectacular. New, warm, cozy. Wooden cabins, very well equipped, all new. It feels very warm. Immersed in a large green space, with lots of flora and fauna that help you disconnect incredibly from the city noise. The location? Ideal. A 10-minute walk from downtown San Marcos la Laguna, but if you go out to the sidewalk, many tuk-tuks will stop to take you. And the best part? Its views facing the lake and the volcanoes. Also, if you cross the sidewalk, you enter a private field, with a private dock to enjoy I would definitely go back to this Airbnb if I came to Guatemala again

The host was very attentive to everything and they were very, very, very kind. The arrival is as advertised, you have to walk and climb stairs but it's worth it when you get to the view and the 3 floors are beautiful. Unfortunately, we were there right at the weekend of the Mother's Day celebration and in the village they started the celebration at dawn so we couldn't sleep comfortably, but we understand that it's out of the host's hands. Everything else was excellent! Especially the view.

This view was to die for! Watching the sunrise above the volcanoes every morning with a cup of coffee was so peaceful. The hike up from the main road is no joke. My boyfriend and I are from Florida and use to flat and no elevation so it was quite difficult but as long as you take breaks it makes it worth it! We took about 5 breaks the first time as we were carrying huge luggage (travel light if you can) but after that we would take 3 breaks up and no breaks down. But it was just the adventure we wanted!

Beautiful home. Nicely appointed. All the comforts of home. Within walking distance to town center. Jacuzzi was a nice addition to our stay. Would have liked to been able to get in when we arrived 10 minutes early but were asked to wait in the beautiful gardens. Nice landscaping, birds and butterflies.

The house has a beautiful design that makes you feel at home right away. It’s the perfect place to escape for the weekend—peaceful, stylish, and incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended!
