Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sokndal

Our stay at Per’s place in Åna-Sira was lovely. The house is very eclectic, mix of old & new, with lots of art, plants, vintage furniture & decor. The house sits over the water with docks surrounding on one side and the location right in the middle of the fjord couldn’t be more picturesque. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking family dinners and space was enough for our group of 10. We had quite a bit of rain but the fireplace kept it cozy and we did some rainy day excursions to the nearby museum and Flekkeford. We were able to fish lots of trout from the dock and found plenty of wild mushrooms on the numerous hiking trails around nearby (porcini & chanterelles). On the sunny days we did some of the longer hikes which are well worth the effort for the views and otherworldly landscape, but be prepared to get wet feet even on dry days.

Very good location. Short walking distance to the city. Right by great nature. Well-equipped kitchen. Clean and cozy atmosphere in the house. Cozy and precise host. We had a very good stay.

Rekefjord is simply beautiful and also offers good hiking opportunities. The area is highly recommended

A great stay in Okka city in connection with a visit to friends and Christmas City 2024.

Simple and nice basement apartment in a quiet area. Walking distance from the city center. The apartment was as described and it was easy to check in and out. Plus for parking right outside the door. I would definitely recommend renting this apartment for 1-2 people.

This was a very peaceful and quiet place to stay. I was there for business, and I plan to try and stay here when I am back in the area. The view towards the sea was dramatic and beautiful.

We had an amazing stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer if it wasn’t our last night in Norway!! We will definitely be back. Celina and her family were lovely too, very considerate and helpful. The local spot for a dip was also great, no one there. The kitchen was well kitted out and had everything we needed.

My colleague and I spent 5 days at Anne Lise's and it was great! Anne Lise is kind and very responsive, check-in is autonomous and flexible. The accommodation is clean, it has all you need, and the environment is beautiful. The views are superb and the neighborhood is quiet. There are lovely walks to do around. The wifi works very well, like everything else. If one day we have to come back for work we will come back to Anne Lise's without hesitation! Perfect place for us, a couple who was going to kite on Lista for a weekend. Close to the beach and within walking distance to the shop. Very nice apartment and very nice hosts. Would love to come back. ☺️

This apartment probably best equipped, cleanest and most comfortable of our 10 stays around Norway and great value. Worried about 3rd floor with dog but she people watched from sun lounge. Shop, snack bar and garage below amongst few open on a Sunday but unobtrusive and shut up promptly at 10pm. Great walk to beach 5 mins in either direction. Anne communicated promptly with useful instructions and advice. Wish we had been able to stay for longer.( 1 of few places with some instructions in English too).

The apartment is probably the coziest place we had stayed in a long time. We got extremely good home made breakfast (bread, butter, jam, egg, melk etc), could not have asked for anything better. Hidra is a beautiful island so strongly recommend.

The space is truly a highlight. The view from the apartment to the water is simply wonderful. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. We felt very comfortable here. Wenche was a great host with lots of helpful tips! We will be happy to come back 🙂

Sissel's apartment is very spacious and furnished to a high standard. Very large bathroom and an extremely comfortable bed. The outdoor seating is awesome. Magnificent view of the city, which can be reached by stairs in just 5 to 10 minutes. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. All in all, we highly recommend Sissel's apartment!
