Cook a meal, or grab a bite or a brew down the road. Winter months, YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOVEL! It can get deep. Keeping the deck clear will prevent hazards, and is a must. This is not the place for you, if you can't climb steep stairs, or are not willing to shovel. Not suitable for kids under 5.

You can watch skiers from a comfy chair by the fire since you are only about a hundred feet from the chairlift. No need to hassle with ski area parking lots or lodge food. Keep all your gear warm and dry and use the kitchen to prepare meals. Silver Fir is a great base camp with day and night skiing, and Summit West, East and Central are accessible by the chairlift.

Bring the dog and enjoy long walks and lake swims in the summer. Lots of hiking regardless of season. On site parking with room for 2 cars in winter, 3 in summer. Fully stocked kitchen/bathroom/bedrooms. Movies, puzzles and games for all ages. Only need your suitcase and groceries! Seattle is about an hour away.
