Underneath new German chink siding are the original logs from the 30s—built in the same fashion as the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) cabins that still exist in the park. The Virginia Highland Horse Trail is about a mile away. This is a rustic cabin . approx. 416 sq.ft. with non potable water but some bottled water will be provided . Hot water is limited. If a quiet and peaceful stay with plenty of outdoor recreation is what you looking for you won't be disappointed.
