Vacation rentals with a patio in Slovenia

We had a lovely stay at this spectacular property overlooking the castle. It felt like we were getting an authentic experience of Ljubljana and Andrej was a very hospitable host. Friendly, responsive, happy to answer questions and help with our luggage and gifted us some Slovenian wine to enjoy during our stay. The location is excellent and we took the walking tour on our first day, which helped get our bearings and some local history, but everything is within easy walking distance of the apartment. For a family of four adults, this was more convenient and relaxing than staying in a hotel and both the apartment and Ljubljana exceeded our expectations. We went on a day trip to Lake Bled from Ljubljana bus station. Tickets are cheap and the service is frequent. It's beautiful there and lots to do with lovely lakeside restaurants so it was worth venturing out of the city for a day. We can't recommend the apartment and Andrej highly enough. We loved our stay at Mlino Alpino! Ana greeted us at the door, having given very clear instructions to reach the flat, and showed us around. She’s the friendliest host we’ve ever stayed with! She talked us through some recommendations and sent us a list as well, including some great restaurants/activities. They also checked in regularly and offered fresh towels etc during our stay :) They’ve also put flyers for various trips and maps out in the lobby area, which was a nice touch. The flat is lovely, so cozy but with plenty of room for two. We cooked during our stay and the kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is big and modern. The whole building is new and clean. One of the best features is the view and patio. You can see a big horse paddock, and the area surrounding is full of alpine style houses. It’s very peaceful, and so close to the lake. We absolutely recommend this stay!

Schöne, saubere und moderne Unterkunft - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben viele Informationen digital zur Wohnung und zur Umgebung aufbereitet. Von der großzügigen Terrasse hatten wir einen tollen Blick auf das gepflegte Grundstück und die Berge. Uns hat nichts gefehlt und wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Thrilled with our stay. We nearly couldn’t make it due to a family bereavement but we managed to sort things out, and we are so glad we came! The apartment is definitely big and comfortable enough for 2 people to have a great stay at Lake Bled. Good amenities, including a small washing machine. Air con was a blessing. Good size fridge and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Hosts nice and responsive and accommodating. Would stay again :)

The location is ideal for visiting Bled. It was a quick walk to the lake, restaurants, and supermarkets. We enjoyed staying in the neighborhood area instead of the hotels clustered around the lake. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking simple meals. The apartment is very comfortable and Simon is a great host.

Wir waren für vier Nächte in Jakas Apartment und waren begeistert. Modern eingerichtet, Alles ist tip top, die Lage genial, ruhig und trotzdem alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Super auch der Parkplatz direkt am Apartment. Auch für unsere E-MTB‘s gab es einen sicheren Abstellraum mit Stromanschluss und einen Gartenschlauch zum sauber machen. Sehr schön die nagelneue Terrasse - für uns ein idealer Frühstücksplatz. Jakas Familie wohnt ja auch auf dem Grundstück und so war er immer ansprechbar. Wir würden sofort wieder buchen.

L'alloggio di Jaka si trova in una cascina in un piccolo villaggio di montagna. Quello che colpisce all'arrivo è il paesaggio circostante - tanto verde, un prato ben coltivato con spazio relax a disposizione degli ospiti da dove ammirare la catena montana del Triglav (la montagna più alta della Slovenia). Pulizia molto buona, letti comodi (un letto matrimoniale e un divano letto), spazio sufficiente per quattro persone adulte, cucina ben attrezzata. Posto macchina all'interno della proprietà. Jaka è un padrone di casa disponibile e discreto. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il gesto gentile di Jaka che ci ha offerto uova fresche delle sue galline. Inoltre, non è scontato trovare sul tavolo un vaso con dei fiori di campo, graditissimi. Insomma, grazie dell' ospitalità e speriamo di poterci rivedere presto.

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich eines der großartigsten Sorte! In Slowenien das Beste, was wir in zwei langen Urlauben bisher hatten. Eigentlich möchte man sofort einziehen. Die Ausstattung ist unglaublich, es ist überall einfach alles üppigst da. Wir hatten das "Glück", ein wenig schlechtes Wetter zu haben und in den Genuss des Kamins zu kommen (natürlich mitsamt fertigem Feuerholz), und keine Stunde wurde uns zu lange in dem schönen Haus. Die Vermieter sind unglaublich freundlich und großzügig, die Lage oben ermöglicht einen tollen Blick in die wunderschöne Landschaft, nachts hört man die Käuzchen. Definitiv ein Ort zum Wiederkommen, denn die Erholung beginnt ab er der ersten Sekunde

Het is een heerlijk huisje, schoon, goed uitgerust, gelegen in een rustige wijk. Barbra is erg vriendelijk, enthousiast en voorkomend. Het was lekker buiten zitten in een soort van privé-tuin. Ligging is prima als je een auto huurt, ik deed deze reis met OV en dan is het iets minder geschikt, afstand naar de bus was ca 10 min. lopen, bergopwaarts, supermarkt eveneens. Desalniettemin heb ik het erg naar mijn zin gehad!

Sehr gemütliches Haus in einem schönen Dorf! Alles super sauber und ordentlich. Jernej ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, seine Tipps waren sehr hilfreich. Check-In und Check-out waren unkompliziert und angenehm. Klare Empfehlung!

The Captains Lodge was an awesome place to stay. Right in a cute small town w small restaurants, a grocery store, and bike/kayak rentals all within walking distance. Lots of hikes and adventures nearby, about 15 minute drive to Bled. Cozy and clean cabin w full kitchen and upstairs comfortable sleeping quarters. The cabin is right on a river so outdoor space is beautiful with a hot tub, picnic table and lots of seating options, it even comes equipped with privacy shades. Natasa was helpful and responsive, she accommodated an early check in (last minute), gave us hiking and eating suggestions, and quickly and thoroughly answered any of our questions. Highly recommend as a cute, convenient, and unique place to stay!

This apartment is a great place to stay in Bled. It is not in the center of the city, but it's just about 10 minutes walk to the center and about 15 minutes to get to the lake. The terrace is amazing and having breakfast on the terrace and also having a cold beer in the evening and listening to the nature was a bliss. The apartment is quite big and it's much better than the pictures on the Airbnb. It is very cosy, with lots of storage and a very well equipped kitchen. We stayed for a week at Mateja and Gorazd's place and we felt like home. Both, Mateja and Gorazd are very good hosts, super hosts, and they are very friendly and helpful and they will recommend you places to visit and activities, if you want to. The place is also pet friendly and you can also park the car in the yard, next to the house. I definitely recommend this place, if you want to experience a tranquility time to relax and enjoy the pieceful nature, but still be close to the heart of the city.

Host was very helpful and accommodating, and the property is spacious and very clean. The view is stunning, and we loved our walk from the house through the flower meadows to the lake. We also enjoyed a number of other walks from the doorstep into the pristine countryside using our Cicerone Julian Alps of Slovenia guide book. Handy little supermarket a few minutes walk away and we enjoyed two evening meals in Gostilna Mihovc.

Beautiful apartment above host’s house in stunning location in the hills. We have 3 young kids and they loved the apartment and surrounds. Katja is lovely, helpful and at the same time very respectful of our space. We were given fresh milk on arrival and the kids loved it! Great value, clean apartment, perfect space for a family of 5 and great spot to check out Lake Bohinj, Lake Bled and surrounds. Would recommend and would happily stay again. Thanks for having us!

The apartment was less than 10 minutes walking distance from the train station, and maybe just 3 minutes walk to where we could meet tour guides for our walking tours. Also there were plenty of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as well as a grocery store. The apartment was also exactly as described and depicted in the photos. We found it to be clean, quiet and very comfortable. It was also very well equipped, and we truly appreciated the large screen smart TV that could easily connect to our streaming services. The other nice amenity was the full service washer and dryer, allowing us to wash our clothes (as we were half way through our travels). Getting into the building and the apartment was a breeze, and using the smart pad to control the air conditioning and other electronics was also easy-peasy. It’s a great apartment and we’d love to stay there again, if we ever return to Ljubjana.

The raitings say it all but let me ellaborate. 1. The check-in was easy with a key lock box outside the building. 2. The dedicated parking spot is a top ammenity if you are renting a car. The area is very busy on the weekends and it was so comforting to know we didn’t have to worry about parking. 3. Chilled beer and wine greeted us - so nice to get our stay started off on the right foot!-) 4. We are coffee drinkers and there was plenty of coffee for the 2 of us. 5. A great supply of kitchen utensiles, glasses, dish towels, paper towels, etc. 6. The hosts were top notch when it came to being avaliable and responsive. 7. The location is great! Just on the edge of town so you don’t have to drive through narrow streets, easy to find, and just a few minutes from the main attraction - the lake! 8. There are 2 markets within 5 minute walks. 9. We encourage you to get up early for a quite walk around the lake! 10. Last, but certainly not least, we would stay here again!

This apartment was exactly as advertised, looking just like the photos and matching the description perfectly! We had a fantastic time; the space is not only beautiful but also very functional and comfortable for our stay. Katharina was an incredibly helpful and responsive host throughout our entire visit, and we will definitely be looking to book here again on our next trip!

Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und diente uns als Basis, von da aus verschiedene Ecken des Nationalparks zu erkunden. Wir waren bei Wintereinbruch da und haben es und mit dem Ofen sehr gemütlich gemacht

Our stay at this Airbnb was perfect. It was the best accommodation experience I’ve ever had! The house was beautiful and homely decorated. There were lovely paintings on the walls, and it was clear that Maruša had put a lot of care and thought into creating the space. Every detail was well considered and of high quality. The views were stunning! I enjoyed sitting on the terrace and taking in the peaceful scenery. Maruša was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming and kind. She had thought through everything to make sure we felt comfortable and gave us great recommendations. I wholeheartedly recommend her place and will definitely come back! :)
