I can’t recommend the apartment enough. It was the best equipped rental I have ever stayed in and the location is beyond fabulous. A few steps down to the beach, the views from the terrace, 2 mins away from a handful of great restaurants, a cafe right next door and 15 mins walk into the main town. It has everything for a relaxed stay but everything on your doorstep when you want it. The house is as the photos depict - stylish and luxurious. A stay here will not disappoint! Loved every moment of it and wonderful hosts.

Place look grate, bit out of the way. But not that far from super market or restaurants. Very peaceful and good hosting. We enjoyed our staying there, we recommend it ❤️

For us as a young family, this was a perfect home away from home which is exactly what we look for on AirBnB. We have a 2 year old daughter and look for a family friendly space where we can relax in peace with our safety in mind. From start to finish Christos was so helpful in every aspect of our stay. He made us aware of everything we needed during our stay and even popped in to meet us which was a lovely touch. The villa was more than adequate for our needs and could easily take more guests and still feel comfortable. We would definitely stay with Christos again. The villa was situated in a small quiet village set around 10/15minutes away from the busier town areas which gave us the flexibility by car to never be too far away from our home comforts. It was a beautiful location that meant a choice to stay at ‘home’ was a relaxing alternative to cook and enjoy the pool and bbq in the large gardens. Christos even helped our daughter with his own family doctor one day. Superhost.

A little piece of paradise We had an unforgettable stay as a couple in this beautiful apartment in Agia Pelagia. Every morning started with breakfast under the bougainvillea, watching the sunrise over the sea – absolutely magical. Just a few steps and we were swimming in crystal-clear water. Pure bliss! The apartment is stylish, spotless, and well-equipped with all essentials like soap, detergent, and toilet paper. The kitchen allowed us to prepare meals comfortably and had all the necessary utensils. A lovely surprise was the thoughtful welcome gift: coffee, wine, fruit, cookies, and water – such a kind gesture. Shops are just minutes away on foot, and everything was super convenient. We truly felt at home and appreciated the care the hosts put into every detail. We’re already dreaming of coming back! Thank you for everything!

Everything is perfect, a wonderful dance, spotless and with incredible views

We traveled with friends and babies (a total of 4 adults and 2 babies (8&10 months old)) to the villa to Savas & Maria and the villa was fantastically beautiful (even more beautiful than in the photos)! For our tour group, the villa was just perfect, we had our peace, could relax and the children had enough space to play on the giant terrace. Savas & Maria kindly provided everything necessary for our kids (crib, baby chairs, a small inflatable pool and plenty of toys). Cleanliness is very important in the villa, the villa was handed over to us in perfect condition! The villa was rounded off in the evening by the overwhelming sunsets! Savas & Maria were extremely communicative, gave us great recommendations and were always available! We would like to express our sincere thanks again for your warmth, hospitality and a fantastic stay! If we come back to Crete, we'll come back to you!

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. This is a spectacular villa and easily matches the photos. One unexpected feature was that one of the two pools was shallow for the kids. That meant they could stand by themselves and they would play in it all day. The adults loved just lying in it too! Nikos was a great host. He welcomed us on to the property and was extremely responsive with our questions. He even delivered extra pool toys and Greek treats during our stay. The area is very private with a short drive to supermarkets and some classic waterfront restaurants. It’s also convenient to get to Chania airport. We loved our stay here as two families, it exceeded our expectations and would strongly recommend.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Excellent stay with family, a real pleasure to have discovered Crete and to relax in the accommodation and in the pool morning and evening (and even a few lunchtimes😉). Services that match the venue. A splendid and quiet view. Remember to plan your trips for visits because you have to take the road as soon as you want to visit, however the city center, the beaches and a very good restaurant are within walking distance, pure happiness! A big thank you to the host and the various service teams who facilitate our stay. I'm validating!

We only have positive things to say about our stay at this Villa! Manolis and Zania were extremely friendly, helpful and were gracious enough to greet us upon arrival. They even filled the refrigerator with groceries for us. Everything was as advertised on the website . We loved swimming in the pool, played ping-pong and basketball almost every day . Each room had one large TV, a comfortable bed, fresh clean linens and large windows with a view of the beautiful yard. We also loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. Everything was also within proximity; from beaches to Rethymno city centre, supermarkets and local taverns . We would highly recommend this Airbnb to any large group of people staying in Crete. This definitely won’t be the last time we stay at this villa. Thanks again Manoli and Zania for making our vacation unforgettable. Till next time!

Great family stay at Villa Aerin! We were 6 (3 couples) and were each able to have our space, while enjoying large common areas (living room and outdoor). The house is located very quiet (very removed from the city), it is well equipped and very clean / recent. Maria (from the concierge) was just perfect! Very accommodating, very kind, very available, THANK YOU! The bad weather and temperature (early May) unfortunately didn't allow us to enjoy the pool, but it was very clean and really appealing. Only downside: being quiet very often means being a little away from the cities: Rethymno (the nearest big city) is about 20-30 min drive away. For groceries, you just have to get organized so you don't have to go there every day.

This was our first trip to Crete. Roupes Villas was a beautiful place to stay for the whole week! The surroundings are beautiful and private. View from the property it’s breathtaking. Fani was super welcoming and super helpful! She even helped us out with our car rental! On top of that they were super thoughtful and made us found all the necessary to make breakfast! Those are the golden details! She was also super responding at all of our questions. The Villa has everything to make you feel right at home! They even have a cleaning service coming several times a week. Honestly one of the best properties we’ve stay by far! We will be back for sure!

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the amenities! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location with no insight. Lovely patio with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. Was received in person in the house at the appointed time and was given a tour of the house and all the features as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wanted was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

Super sweet people. Everything was well arranged. Despite the sandstorm, they really gave top service. We even got pizza as an apology while they couldn't do anything about it. Very sweet. Definitely a villa to go to once.

The best villa we have ever been to. We didn’t want to leave, the villa has everything you need. Access to the beach, whirpool, beautiful pool, bbq place. Amazing. Really impressed. I hope we will come back. Thank you!

The host was very proactive & kept good communication with us throughout our stay in the villa. The host was on hand when we landed at 2am in the morning to help us locate the villa. The villa was lovely and clean on arrival with a massive garden. Information was also provided about any potential activities within the local area.

We had a very nice holiday here with the family. The villa is exactly as described, it's even nicer on the spot. A private large swimming pool with a shallow section for children and a heated hot tub. In previous reviews, the most important things have probably already been said, but we especially appreciated the fact that each room has its own toilet and shower, and the terrace has a water dispenser, so there is no need to buy bottled water. The apartment was really clean and the rent includes interim cleaning. Car is required. We can't think of a nicer place to spend a holiday with the family. Valia and the Thinkville team handled everything in a really professional and friendly way. Margareta took care of us throughout our vacation. We are lucky to have found this wool.
