Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Cozy rental house near the "Capital of Culture Vestfossen". The house is located on a cozy farmhouse. In the surrounding area we have Vestfossen Kunstlaboratorium, Fossesholm, Chocolate Salon and a Sanse Garden. In Hokksund we have Nøstetangen Museum / Norwegian Glass Museum and Eiker Gårdsysteri to name a thing. Many hiking areas and, swimming areas nearby. The place is located in a cutout landscape, quietness and room for play and creativity is easily accessible. Great for a family or friends looking for a great summer spot.

Cabin located at Sandtjern. Large windows with great views. No electricity and water. Take a break from the daily grind in this cozy cabin. Here you can enjoy the silence and let your thoughts rest. Perfect for quiet evenings in the presence of nature. Access to the cabin is about 15 min walk (1.5 km) with partial forest road and nice hiking trail. Ski run in winter. Drinking water is arranged by host. Road fee NOK 100 Bed linen and towels are not included. Recommend going up before dark. Remember the headlamp.

Newer apartment

I'm renting out my home. This is a newer apartment on the 1st floor with good standards. It has a sheltered and nice location with good sun conditions on the terrace. There is a short way to the city centre. There is also short distance to bus, train and grocery store. Marka and nice hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity of the outdoorsy. Since it is my home I rent out, there will be a few items I cannot remove, but otherwise the apartment will be tidy and clean until you arrive.

The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.

This cabin requires that you travel with a car and that you bring your own sleeping bags, drinking water, food and toilet paper. It is also almost a must to bring rubber boots if you don’t want to get your feets soaking wet ☺️ From the car park it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the cabin.
