Lars’s place sets a high bar for Air BnBs! This place was decorated with a clean, elegant, modern style. It had the perfect balance of detail and space which allowed us to feel at home and have the ability to spread out and unpack to our comfort level. We also had the best sleep of our entire trip in this bed! The blackout curtains are very effective and the bed and room are very cozy and clean. We didn’t need the extra bedroom, but it seemed nice. The bathroom was warmed up and clean- like a modern sauna! The shower was hot with great pressure and nice soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to cool a meal and we really enjoyed the coffee. I especially liked the nook overlooking the water- it was a perfect spot for reflection. The location was very peaceful and quiet too! Lars was a great and communicative host. I hope we can come back someday!

Excellent accommodation, very pleasant, easy communication with William Fredrik. Everything is quiet and the whole place is well-equipped, as described and very clean. The value is quite favorable. Very well located accommodation provided you have a car. But a bus service exists to reach Alesund.

We stayed at Kristina’s place in Alesund for 5 days and felt right at home. The views were beautiful and it was an easy 15 min walk to a large mall for shopping and restaurants. She was the best host - always answering my questions quickly. The place was large enough for my family of 4 (2 teenagers) to relax.

Everything was perfect we had a great stay, the view of the fjord is beautiful, we loved looking at it, the accommodation is very well equipped and was very clean. We would more than highly recommend it!

It's a small cabin right on the water. Very scenic area, somewhat remote, but easy to find. There were several grocery stores nearby which was convenient. Not a whole lot going on in the area, but we picked it because it was a convenient halfway point for a long drive. The host responded quickly when we had a question.

We had a wonderful time in Ålesund. The house is great right in front of the ferry and with an incredibly beautiful view of the city and the mountains. Ideal for excursions!

A large and cozy house with all the amenities needed for longer stays. A nice place to work remotely. The area is beautiful and from the house you have a beautiful view. Despite a lot of rain during our stay, we enjoyed the mountains, the house and the cider. The contact with Borgny went very smoothly. We were warmly welcomed and were even invited to go fishing once. All in all, had a very good stay here!

A charming guesthouse located in a peaceful area. It is perfect for families as there is plenty of space for children to play at, and many options for a scenic walk or nearby trip. Einar is also a nice host and easy to communicate with. We hope to come back and we recommend this place!

Beautiful apartment on the 2nd floor, close to the ferry and small supermarket.

Super nice location. Neat apartment that is located above the garage. Quiet and quiet location with beautiful views over the water. For those who love a challenge, the hiking route Lille Bessegen - Sjurvarden tour from Farstad (via Komoot hiking app) is highly recommended. 8.15 km / 3.13 h /620 meters altitude walking over the mountain top.

A great stay! We went there for a local beer festival, which was in a walking distance. The place is greatly located above a convinient store, so it was easy to get food etc. The place is like home comfortable and nice. The beds were super soft. Lise Katrin was super helpful and inviting host, where we got great information and communication.

the apartment is very comfy and has everything needed, it was warm and cosy, the view is spectacular! highly recommend and would book again myself if I will have a chance to visit Alesund again
