Vacation rentals with a pool in Skiathos

This villa is simply beautiful; the views are outstanding and the property spacious, stylish and well designed. The pool is a great size; the various indoor and outdoor seating areas mean you are able to lie in or out of the sun in comfort; the AC is great; there was a fabulous welcome pack on arrival and a friendly guide to help us navigate up the mountain to this island retreat. One of the nicest villas we have ever stayed in…Highly recommended for anyone looking for tranquility, stunning views and time away from the rush of daily life.

Shane’s place has got to be one of the most beautiful spots on the island! We enjoyed every aspect of it, our one regret is not spending MORE time there.

This Fantastic, modern house carved into the hillside with the best views of Skiathos was the perfect holiday for us and our friends. This holiday, for us, was all about R&R, its peaceful, private and quiet with a refreshing pool that is the perfect size for the little ones as it’s not too deep but deep enough for the adults to get a few lengths in! The journey into the town is quite significant if by foot and should only be taken on by experienced walkers, its downhill all the way and quite steep, by car it’s around 10mins, we hired a small 4x4 which was perfect for the supermarket runs and brief trips into town and as a party off 8 we used a minibus service if we wanted to go and eat in the town. This holiday was everything we wanted but be mindful that if you are the type who wants to be around the hustle and bustle of the town everyday, eating and drinking l, then ensure to factor in expenses for transport. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt! Der Blick vom Haus und vom Pool aus auf Skopelos Stadt und die Bucht ist wunderschön - man genießt absolute Ruhe. Der Pool liegt den ganzen Tag über in der Sonne - wir haben ihn jeden Tag morgens und nachmittags genutzt. Stylianos und sein Team (Andreas und Lory) waren jederzeit kurzfristig erreichbar und unglaublich hilfsbereit - vielen Dank dafür🙏🏻😊 Bei unserer Ankunft lagen Getränke und etwas zu essen im Kühlschrank als Erstversorgung bereit. Die Anfahrt zum Haus ist nicht ganz einfach, besonders der letzte Abschnitt führt über eine holprige, unbefestigte Straße. Man gewöhnt sich allerdings schnell daran. Auf dem Weg nach Skopelos Stadt (5-10 Minuten) findet man mehrere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Obst und Gemüsehändler) und eine Reihe von Restaurants und Tavernen. Insgesamt haben wir eine sehr schöne und erholsame Urlaubswoche auf Skopelos verbracht.

We had a lovely stay the villa was really nice ,and well maintained it was a great location for us , the area is lovely and very easy to catch the bus into Skiathos .Alexandros was very kind and easy to communicate with us . Thanks for having us .

Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Das Haus, die Lage, der Ausblick, die Ruhe, der Garten, der Pool, der Grill. Einfach alles war perfekt. Spiros holte uns am Hafen ab, nachdem wir unseren Mietwagen in Empfang genommen hatten und fuhr mit uns in die Unterkunft. Er war auch während unseres Aufenthalts immer erreichbar und kümmerte sich zwischendurch in Absprache mit uns um das Anwesen. Ein wahrer Gentleman und ein toller sympathischer Mensch. Den Pool haben wir häufig genutzt und uns darin abgekühlt. Die Ruhe und Privatsphäre im Garten hoch oben über der Insel war einfach traumhaft. Wir werden irgendwann wiederkommen. Bis dahin drücken wir die Daumen für gutes Wetter und eine gute Olivenernte.

We had a wonderful stay at Chestnut Tree Cottage. The location is incredibly peaceful and the accommodation was clean and contained everything we needed. Pipitsa was incredibly helpful and we couldn’t recommend this accommodation highly enough.
