Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Skeikampen

This is our second stay with Solveig, and it was just as delightful as the first! The common area is spacious and beautifully decorated with genuine Norwegian antiques and a cozy decor, an array of healthy houseplants, and an exquisite view. The bedrooms are comfy, the bathroom and kitchen have a wonderfully vintage vibe, and the bookshelves are filled with classics. Solveig is a marvelous host, even more warm and welcoming than her home. Our family of 5 adults decided it was our favorite lodging of the trip!

This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Inger's house. It is very spacious, well furnished and very clean. The kitchen is very tidy and there is everything you need. The house has a large garden with a playhouse, which has made our children very happy. Parking was available right in front of the house on the premises. Inger sent a lot of information in advance about things to do in the area and was always easily accessible. Everything was perfect and we recommend this place, especially for families. Thank you!

It was a very cozy house that contained everything that was necessary. Was nice and tidy, and just what we needed. A nice house that is nicely located. The host responded to all inquiries quickly and was accommodating.

Inger’s place was perfect for our family! We enjoyed the abundant natural light coming in the great big windows, the wood burning fireplace, the sauna (which Inger’s husband Knut graciously helped us get going, then shared interesting information about the history and unique ecological features of the area), and the river views. It’s conveniently located 12 minutes from downtown Lillehammer, making our Birken weekend convenient!

Very short location to two ski lifts with cross country tracks right outside. Spotless check-in/check-out, modern apartment that had a modern decor. Good beds to sleep in after many hours of skiing. Good kitchen facilities - even coffee maker and cheese slicer. Maybe a little seating for a tired bunch of alpinists who wanted to lie long flat in their own sofa nooks in the evening - but these are well more personal preferences, and one sofa rather stimulated social evenings. Missed the typical "cabin character" with a pile of games, but we also experienced this stimulating for increased social activity.

Very cozy and modern apartment that was within walking distance to the ski slope, as we imagined because we were there on the sports holiday for skiing. From the apartment we had a wonderful view out over the village and mountains! Perfect driving distance and nice roads from Gothenburg. We would be glad to come back!

Felt right at home with the beautiful surroundings of Kvikne. Had a great stay. The house was super tidy and very clean. The place was an excellent base for us to explore Rondane.

A nice, clean, and cozy apartment with a fabulous view that you can enjoy from a private terrace. The apartment is exactly as described. The hosts are very welcoming and truly care about making their guests feel comfortable.

We felt right at home. The house is beautifully situated above Favang with a great view. We were greeted nicely and had everything we needed. Communication with Julia was excellent. We had enough wood for the stove to make ourselves comfortable. We were able to spend a nice week skiing. For cross-country skiing, Hafjell is better suited and also only 30 minutes away. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is centrally located and only a 5-minute walk from the train station. The apartment was clean and has everything you need. Thank you😘👍

We loved our short but sweet stay at Frederic and Marte's guest house. It was so cozy, rustic, and charming with the high ceilings, antique furniture and nice landscaping outside. Frederic was very friendly greeting us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the space. Communication was great throughout, and as a bonus our 1 year old loved all of the open space to crawl around :) Overall, we would certainly recommend if in the Lillehammer area.

The communication with Jens was impeccable. Among other things, we needed to check in earlier and it was no problem. Unfortunately, our children became ill the day we were supposed to leave and we therefore did not use the apartment. Jens followed up the next day and has offered us to stay there for one night on another occasion free of charge. This is what I call service and a really nice host. We are happy to stay here another time.

This studio is really lovely, thought of every detail and you feel really welcome. We spent 4 days between Christmas and New Year, and the apartment was nicely decorated, even the hand soap smelled like Christmas. Really lovely duvets and pillows with nice warm linens. The apartment is a short distance to Hafjell alpine center and with ski locker rentals under the gondola, the studio worked perfectly for 4 days skiing for 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 14).

The apartment was clean and in the kitchen you could find whatever you need to cook and prepare meals. The atmosphere of the apartment was making you feel cosy and relaxed. Also, the view was amazing! The landlords sent us detailed information about the apartment and the processes we had to follow beforehand.
