Vacation rentals in Skala

Anne was a perfect host and her villa is gorgeous - even better than it looks in the pictures. Really large and spacious but still managing to be comfortable and homely. Also a really beautiful garden which surrounds the house with suntraps throughout the day. Comfortable beds, generous bed linen and towels and spotlessly clean. The temperature was comfortable when we were there but there are efficient air conditioning units for the hotter months. This was an absolutely perfect location for us - quiet and rural surroundings but less than a 20 minute (easy) walk into Skala town (good variety of shops and restaurants without feeling horribly touristy - in May/June at least!) and beach. Also a very short walk to a hidden beach which was completely deserted apart from us for the whole time that we were there. Crystal clear waters and lovely swimming. Anne was a friendly and helpful host and we really enjoyed meeting her and chatting with her. We hope to be back again in the future.

We had a great week at the Villa. Great location with fabulous views over Skala and across to Zakinthos. You do need a car to get into the town but it’s only a five minute drive and the seclusion at the house makes it worthwhile. Plenty of bars , restaurants within a few minutes and local beaches are good for early evening sun and refreshments!

Lovely place to stay for a beach holiday - just a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and mini-market. The neighbourhood was quiet and pleasant. The apartment had everything we needed - nice sized bedrooms and bathroom, airy (we didn't use the aircon) and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of storage space and good provision of linens and towels. Our host was responsive and helpful.

our group of 9 didn’t want to leave this gorgeous villa. we would absolutely re-book! Zoi’s villa is peaceful and comfortable, convenient and appointed with many luxuries. the pool was the perfect temp for summer weather, our kids played all the games provided (chess, etc). we saw wild horses! the villa is a 3 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk to the Katelios beachfront row of eateries & shops. nightlife is fun & lively. the villa is also surrounded by lush landscape—grape vines, fig trees, pine trees, olive trees, and you can see the Ionian Sea from the villa. Zoi and Nektaria went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. responsiveness rate of 300%. communication was easy, *when* we needed to contact our host, but Zoi anticipated and prepared the house for every guest to have what they needed. we felt as if we were treated as family. Zoi & Nektaria were totally invested in our experience, to make it the best it could be. everything was beautiful.

We had a great stay at this beautiful, peaceful villa. It looked just like the photos and had everything we needed, even some snacks and a bottle of wine on our arrival. The location was perfect. Stunning views from the pool, Isolated enough to feel quiet and private, but only a short drive to the beaches and restaurants. Our host was friendly and provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do around the island. She also responded quickly when we had a minor issue and got it sorted right away. Much appreciated! It's worth noting that the advertised jacuzzi is not a hot tub, only jets in the unheated pool. We were slightly disappointed to discover this, but it did not detract from our stay at all

Our adult family stayed here for 10 days. It was a superb setting with great views, Very quiet. The villa was most comfortable and had plenty of space. The outdoor area and pool was great. Skala was close by for good restaurants. We had a memorable stay. Highly recommend, Kristin

This was such a fantastic stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and the host was communicative and helpful throughout our entire week in Skala. He sent us many recommendations and was quick to respond if any needs came up. They also refreshed the rooms twice throughout the week which was a very pleasant surprise. The area is more quiet than other areas around the island but we enjoyed the relaxation. Highly recommend.

What an incredible place! The villa was absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice. We had everything we needed, plenty of space and the view was amazing, so peaceful. Stavros was great, super speedy responses, we were lucky enough to get an early check in as our flight landed earlier than planned and were also able to have a late check out too due to a later flight (thank you so much!) We didn’t want to leave! The town was a 20 min walk and lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc to choose from. Will be recommending to friends and I’m sure we’ll be back in the future!
