Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Come and experience the rural idyll and tranquility and greet the farm's animals.

What we most often hear about our cottage is that it has a nice atmosphere, that you feel welcome and at home and that it is cozy. We strive to make the cottage personal but also functional, which is why the decor is a good mix of new and old. We bought the cottage in 2018, renovating it a little along the way and as time allows. What we want is for the cottage to look cozy and personal. Our wish is that the house can be the framework for creating good memories.

If you want beach or city life, this can be chosen with just an 8-minute drive. Stay in a charming old farm from the 1700s. In its heyday, the farm belonged to the King's riding bailiff and was one of the largest farms in the area, which the living room and breeding buildings still bear the mark of. The house is old and the decor is chosen with respect for history and with a significant part of the family's furniture.
