It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.

Jim’s Holiday House

My house situated in a traditional cretan village in the south,called sivas, only a 10 min. drive to Matala, Komos, Faistos will be excellent for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. It is at the quietest zone of the village, however the village square is full of life and restaurants and only a 2 minute walk. The balcony has a spectacular view of Psiloritis and the surrounding area, where you can just relax or enjoy your breakfast!

Very very nice and welcoming host. We got a home made cake on arrival for the simple reason we are thier guests. It has little to do with the fact you are a paying client, it's a different mindset altogether. You stay in the completely recently renovated house of thier grandfather, so it's home for them, therefore you have to be happy there for true locals, otherwise they betray thier idea of thier home. If you get this you get the feeling you get staying at Stefano's and Georgia's granddad's home. On top of this: super clean, nice space to live in, Netflix, fruit in the fridge, solar panel hot water, order everywhere, olive oil body lotions, where to go, pictures of places. Lovely.

A modern bedroom is revealed, featuring a spacious bed dressed in white linens and complemented by neatly arranged towels. Large glass doors open to a scenic view, allowing natural light to fill the space. A television is mounted on the wall, and a minimalist chair is positioned nearby.

We had the pleasure of staying in this stunning villa in Matala and it was just perfect! The place is not only beautiful but also very well equipped. The view from the terrace was beautiful, we will miss enjoying the sunrise there every day. In the evening, a starry sky like a picture book. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. He organized excursions for us like a day trip with a 10-meter boat from a local fisherman and his daughter, who showed us dream beaches. We were able to fish and they cooked us lunch on the boat Value for money was outstanding. Thank you so much for that too! I highly recommend this villa and look forward to my next visit! Top! Top! Top!

Very charming and private house with a wonderful garden and amazing view. We felt immediately at home and had a wonderful time. You’re a secluded at one hand but also conveniently located with lots of acitivities and amazing spots nearby.

A selection of local delicacies is arranged on a table, featuring assorted fruits, pastries, and cheese. A crystal decanter holds a beverage, complemented by a bottle of olive oil. The background captures a scenic view of distant islands under a cloudy sky.

Family of five had the perfect gateway home in south Heraklion, Malala area. The house was perfect, comfortable and in a peaceful corner of the village with fantastic views. Sivas village has a couple of the best taverns in the area, while everything is 10 minutes drive away. The hosts are so polite and responsive, we felt home. Don’t hesitate to book this place for an extensive state and take your time to explore the area and especially the gorges south of the village.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa! The pool was amazing and all the time clean, the house was well equipped and the surrounding are beautiful! We will definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Georgios’ place. Communication with him and his wife was very smooth — they responded quickly whenever we had a question and were also very flexible with the check-in. The flat is a dream and waking up every morning to such a beautiful view right by the beach felt like a real fairytale. We truly felt that they cared about us — they kept us informed about important things (like an earthquake) and other helpful updates. We highly recommend the flat and them as hosts. Would definitely love to come back. Thanks for everything!

Studio "Marina" in Sivas Traditional Village.

We stayed at the property for 10 days and felt very much at home. Everything was very clean and available as described. The residential location is very quiet and you can reach the center in 3 minutes with tavernas, supermarket etc. Marina was very warm and spoiled us again and again with little delicacies. I appreciate it. Thanks We will be happy to come back.
