Delightful one bedroom log cabin

Get away from it all when you stay in a very special, cozy log cabin in a beautiful nature setting right beside the rail trail and lots of beautiful rivers and lakes near by. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ian and Susan’s. We had all the privacy and peace and quiet we needed as well as the pleasure to meet and chat with our hosts and their daughter and partner. They were warm and friendly, and we greatly appreciated the welcome, their (great!) recommendations and conversations. We loved saying hello to Cintara the horse in the morning, testing out the Airstream’s tape deck and having our breakfast enjoying the view of the garden. It’s a special and beautiful part of the world. We left a bit sad but fully recharged and if we’re able to, would love to stop by again! Thank you for everything :)!

It's an absolutely lovely home with an amazing view and beautiful natural surroundings. The house is spotless and well equipped with everything you need. The views from the large deck were such a wonderful surprise. The ferry ride back and forth from the town of Nelson was an added delight for us. All in all this home was fantastic and I would highly recommend for other travelers.

Hidden gem in Crawford bay just had the most incredible one-night stay at Gloria’s Gallery Studio! Tucked away in the heart of Crawford Bay, the property is both private and peaceful. Gloria was so warm, friendly, and accommodating—I felt right at home the moment I arrived. The studio is spotless, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by stunning landscaping and vibrant gardens. It has everything you could possibly need, and then some! The bed, bedding, and linens are all top quality and incredibly comfortable. During my stay, I had the chance to explore the local charm—visiting incredible artisans, grabbing a delicious bite at Red's Bakery, and even walking to the nearby beach—all within easy walking distance. This was easily a 5-star stay, and I’m already looking forward to rebooking for a longer visit. Do yourself a favor and book this place—you won’t regret it!
