Guesthouse vacation rentals in Simi Valley

The host Linda was very responsive. We were evacuated due to the Palisades and other wild fires, and we were very disappointed! But Linda called in the middle of the night telling us we had to leave. Power went out eventually in the unit and we returned quickly to retrieve all of our belongings. We were able to go and stay with friends we were supposed to be visiting. Since the situation was so terrible, we arranged to leave early for our second destination and Linda was very gracious about refunding our early departure and Airb&b was very helpful and refunded our entire stay. Hopefully, when we return for our son’s wedding in May we will have the full experience!

Great place for a quick getaway in the mountains. The drive to the spot was very scenic. I would recommend the space for anyone that was looking for a quick nature trip.

Needed a last minute place to stay in LA for one night before a flight. This place was convenient to great neighborhoods and an easy drive to the airport.

Michael and Laura were fabulous hosts. Before I checked in, they sent me a message asking about my favorite drink -- so that they could have it waiting for me! I felt like I arrived to a secret garden, with a darling welcome sign at the front door. The entrance feels fully private and the area is so quiet. The space is thoughtfully stocked, with everything I needed for cooking, showering, sleeping, relaxing. Michael checked in to see that I had everything I needed and was quick to respond when I texted about best walkable grocery stores or scenic walks. They are a perfect combination of warm and attentive, while also respecting privacy. This is my favorite Airbnb I've ever stayed. And I hope to come back again! Seriously cannot thank them enough for a wonderful time and for sharing their incredible space with me! Hugs to you both -- fabulous job!

Our stay at Sara and Sam’s guest house was great! They were super friendly and responsive to any questions I had, and the unit itself was beautiful! I would definitely stay here again when visiting LA.

Great place to stay if you’re in LA for the Warner Bros & Universal Studios, as we’re in the same area. Flat is exactly as described, and the bed is so comfy for a good night rest after a busy day on the roller coasters! Cesca is the best host you could hope for: so proactive to offer local recommandations (food, hike places, activities), super flexible to help us to store our luggage even before checkin was available to make our trip more convenient. She was also so attentive to our long journey to reach LA, and was extra nice to make our first night in the city perfect and relaxing.

Had a lovely three week stay stay at Alice and Eric's lovely guesthouse / cottage in Topanga! Very quiet and peaceful setting, guesthouse was private and spacious with everything you need, and I really enjoyed reading and hanging out on the patio and in the garden area on sunny days. So many great hiking trails nearby and it's only a 5-7 minute drive into Topanga Village or an easy 10-12 minutes into Calabasas and Woodland Hills where there are plenty of great grocery stores and restaurants. Wonderful calm and serene alternative place for a short or long stay compared to the many overly busy, crowded areas of greater Los Angeles. Highly recommend! Tranquility, peace and the views are breathtaking. We only left the property once we were enjoying ourselves so much! Very romantic and cozy. Friendly hosts and we will be booking again.

I loved my little canyon retreat in the hills of LA. Being born and raised here but now a visitor, I wanted to experience the nature and serenity that the city of Angels has to offer (if you can find it!). Megan’s place was exactly as described and pictured - small but perfect for 1-2 people who want a little quiet after a full day out and about. Mainly, Megan was kind, helpful, and quick to respond to all my inquiries! She also was very respectful of guest privacy - and the parking spot was a plus! I highly recommend Megan’s rare find location - and walking around the neighborhood!

Cute and stylish little studio in a beautiful neighbourhood. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable, and the surroundings are quiet which is important to me as a light sleeper. The studio is small, as described, so I’d say it’s perfect for a short stay 2-4 days and appropriate for those who like to be out most of the time. Lauren is so lovely and met us on check in and said goodbye when we checked out - a personal touch which we appreciated. Also appreciated the snacks she left in the studio especially since we got in rather late. I’d stay again for sure!

I must say that this place was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in! I would ever go as far as to say the pictures doesn’t do it justice. It was an absolute beauty, with a huge hot tub deck complete with a covered outside bar with a grill and room for 10+ guests. The guest itself was spotless and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. There is even a washer and dryer inside the unit. I would most definitely recommend staying here and will be booking a stay here again. Thank you Tracy for your near-immediate responses, welcoming hospitality, and quaint accommodations!

Can't say enough good things about Michael and the AirBnB! The place itself was really cute - the decor was beautiful and evocative of the Topanga spirit. The hot tub was clean and the view was beautiful. We weren't especially good guests - we arrived late, disheveled, and without a car - but Michael was an extremely gracious and accommodating host. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we got a great experience. He even let us play with the baby kittens, which was a real highlight of the weekend! Would come back in a heartbeat, and we'd be sure to be better prepared on our return journey!

This space is amazing! The outdoor front yard really makes the place. We were with small kiddos and they loved being outside and hanging out watching the planes coming in. Ernesto was very communicative and the inside had everything you would need. We had such a great time and are hoping to book it again in the future. Great place and host!

Comfortable place to stay in nice quiet environment definitely recommend!

Desi’s guest house was the perfect place for a couple’s getaway. It was very clean and cozy, from the comfy bed to the extra hot shower it had everything we needed. The location is a quick 2 minute drive to the beach and 10 to 15 minutes to lots of fun dining and hiking options. We loved sitting on the balcony and enjoying our morning coffees while listening to the birds sing. Soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day was a real treat! Desi was a great host, quickly responding to any question that we had. We hope to return again soon!

I had an excellent stay for a week. Friendly and gracious hosts, the studio has great natural light, a lovely backyard, and was a quiet and comfy place to sleep. The neighborhood is pretty and residential. Meeting the sweetheart dogs of the house was a bonus!

This place was perfect to stay at for a weekend. Nestled in the mountains just a few minutes from the main road, the drive up is steep and narrow, which made it feel like a real adventure. It’s also only a short drive to the town, which is super cute and fun to walk around — lots of small shops to explore. The Airbnb is very private with stunning views, and the photos are exactly what it looks like. I loved sitting outside in the mornings, listening to the birds and watching wildlife. There’s a hiking trail right behind the property too. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated — cozy bed, comfy couch, and a great kitchen with fridge, stove, utensils, etc (though no microwave). I’d suggest grabbing groceries in LA, about 15 minutes away, since the local store is small. There was no Wi-Fi and I had no phone signal at the Airbnb, but I didn’t mind since I wanted to unplug. I could walk just a minute down the road to get service if needed. I loved this place, it was magical.

Ray and Andrea were amazing. They communicated very well, made everything easy, and have an adorable property. We had a couple of encounters with them and they were pleasant and friendly, as well as messages in which they were also great. I highly recommend this property and the hosts, it was well worth it.

The property was in the hills of Topanga Canyon. Quiet except for the bird symphony. Beautiful surroundings and very private. Lynn was extremely accessible and house was clean and well equipped. I'll be back soon!

Lucy’s place was outstanding and more than I was expecting. She greeted me upon arrival and was very friendly and helpful. The guest house was extremely clean with lots of amenities and extras that no other Airbnbs typically provide (things like a bathrobe, slippers, multiple bottles of water). The decor has a lot of interesting and appealing artwork. It was a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the LA/Hollywood area!

Great place. Quiet, felt very safe. Host was very accommodating and pleasant. I was extremely happy with my stay and the price. Would love to stay here again on my next visit out.

This is our 3rd time staying with Anoush and she never disappoints us. The space is immaculate and very comfortable. There's even a private outdoor space for nice days. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils. Bed is comfortable. It's the best Air BnB we've stayed in. Highly recommend!

This peaceful hideaway was the most gorgeous Bnb I’ve ever stayed at. Hayley is an extraordinary host, and provided not only a beautiful space but went above and beyond with amenities such as beach towels, coffee, tea, and extra linens available. She provided super helpful directions, and even reminded us to download offline maps ahead of our stay as this beautiful space is tucked in the mountains away from cell reception. She was even so kind as to accommodate a late checkout for us on short notice. My partner and I have already decided to rebook this Bnb for our future travels to LA! I cannot recommend this space enough, for the beautiful space, the gorgeous views, and our kind and helpful host Hayley. Thank you again!!
