Vacation rentals with a patio in Silves

We had such a beautiful stay, this place truly exceeded our expectations. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the nearby river on one side and the city on the other, which added a unique charm and calmness. The location was perfect — everything was easy to find, and so many great restaurants were just minutes away. Despite being so central, the area still felt peaceful, safe, and serene — like a true home away from home. The apartment itself felt very luxurious and welcoming. Everything was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully arranged. A big bottle of water was already waiting for us, which was exactly what we needed after arriving in the middle of the night. It was clear that great care was taken to make sure guests feel comfortable and cared for. We genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay and were honestly sad to leave. It was such a special experience, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here and the home was as described. The hosts where very responsive, and the sofa folded out bed was comfortable (as was the other bed).

The place to live in lagos...excellent beach, walking distance from old town n just very safe for family. we shall be back

Perhaps the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was exactly what I needed after exploring the big cities. The property was exactly like the listing - if not more. It was in a quiet residential area but still walkable to the town center (less than 10mins). I LOVED the balconies, there’s 2 private balconies and both incredible. One has a sun lounge, and the other with a beautiful sea view. I watched the sunrise from that balcony one morning. It was surreal. I will definitely come back to Portugal just to stay at this Airbnb. Everything has well thought out, even little things like the outdoor washing machine and clothes drying rack for guests use. I would 10000% recommend this place.

We stayed at André’s AirBnB for three nights and can only recommend this apartment! Communication with André was very easy and the check-in was perfectly. The apartment is beautiful and completely clean — there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The location is also fantastic: the parking spot is right in front of the building, and we could easily walk to the supermarket and explore the charming parts of Lagos by foot. A perfect stay to discover the city. It was a perfect stay — thank you again, André!

We were very happy with our stay at this apartment and would recommend it for anyone looking to stay n the Algarve area. It was centrally located, but provided a quiet oasis away from it all when in apartment, and was very clean and provided all the amenities we needed. It was great to be walking distance to the apartment no matter where we were in old town Lagos. The free parking lot nearby was convenient. Given the short stay we had, we did not use the rooftop deck, but it did appear very inviting. Doran and Alex were very responsive and provided great recommendations for restaurants and excursions. We definitely would stay here again. One item I feel compelled to mention is that the elevator/lift did not work and I doubt it has in a while. This was not a user issue. That being said, we did not find the walk up the stairs any bother at all - it is only two short flights, and I note this only for anyone having mobility issues. The apartment is still a 5 rating without lift.

The apartment was really nice, the beachy clean minimalist decor was lovely, lots of attention to detail. Stunning place. Looks exactly like the pictures. Balcony is small but enough space to eat and 4 people to sit round. Aircon in every room, nice bathrooms and kitchen with utilities. The place was immaculate, they even came and cleaned half way through our trip which was nice. Although we didn’t know this was going to happen so a heads up would be nice for next time. The location is great and close to old town and the beach, a bit noisy at night though with old town pubs and clubs. Pool was nice and everyone around the pool was very friendly! Seems like a lot of apartments in the building are also airbnbs so lots of guests around! The corridor to the apartment is run down and very darkly lit, with lots of flies too but once you get into the actual apartment it’s lovely. Liliana and Marisa were extremely warm and welcoming, fantastic stay would stay again and recommend to a friend

Patrick was super communicative and helpful from booking all the way to the day before we flew, especially as Portugal had the blackout the day before we were meant to arrive! He was incredibly helpful at keeping us updated on the local situation in Silves. The villa itself was better than the photos, my parents had the master bedroom and were very happy with their ensuite and balcony! The pool is unheated so perfect for roasting hot weather but takes a little more getting used to in the lower 20s. The kitchen and outdoor BBQ area had everything we needed and we enjoyed the alfresco dining area very much. As one other guest mentioned, bring earplugs as the local dogs tend to bark at night. The villa is really well located for Silves and Carvoeiro, both towns we really loved and had some great food!

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette Vale do Rei. Au calme, loin du tumulte de l’Algarve, au milieu des eucalyptus et des terres que Christiane cultive avec amour. Le logement est parfait (encore mieux que sur les photos et bien plus grand qu’il n’y paraît). Très bien équipé, frais et subtilement décoré. La literie est confortable. Adapté aux enfants (nous étions là avec notre fille de 4 ans). Les lieux communs améliorent encore l’expérience. Une voiture est indispensable ; néanmoins, vous trouverez tout le nécessaire à 10min, dans le village situé en bas de la vallée. Christiane est d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité infinies. Son sens du détail et sa chaleur nous font sentir comme des amis de la famille. Encore un immense merci pour tout.

Es war ein wirklich wunderbarer Aufenthalt in diesem hübschen Häuschen mitten in den Bergen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und bei heißen Temperaturen angenehm kühl. Der Garten ist nochmal etwas ganz besonderes und viel größer als man es auf den ersten Blick vermutet. Hinter jeden Ecke gibt es was zu entdecken. Außerdem ist es angenehm ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse gelegen mit wirklich netten Nachbarn. In der Umgebung gibt es auch mehr als genug zu entdecken, allein schon das pittoreske Bergdorf Monchique ist in nur wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld lief auch reibungslos und ein flexibler CheckIn war kein Problem. Ich wurde von Simon in Empfang genommen und habe mich gleich rundum wohl gefühlt. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und komme gern wieder 😊

on a adoré notre séjour à "casa do sapateiro", dans l'ancienne partie du sympathique village de Messines. l'environnement est calme, même si l'on peut trouver nombreux commerces (dont une pharmacie) et restaurants de proximité. la maison est très agréable, bien aménagée, super propre. on a bien profité du patio, à l'ombre d'un magnifique citronnier, et équipé d'un barbecue en pierres. Jorge et sa maman sont adorables et super réactifs. ils ont réglé mon petit souci d'internet très rapidement. je recommande vivement.

No review anyone could write could sum up why YOU needed to book this beautiful villa for your holiday. As we know, sometimes it’s also people that make the place. We can conclude that not only the villa was exactly what we needed but the welcome and nano second communication via text made us feel like we just knew this couple love making peoples experiences the best. Wil je een geweldige, luxueuze en toch supergezellige vakantie in de Algarve? Twijfel dan niet: dit huis is perfect. Erg netjes en ruime woning met alle nodige voorzieningen (ook verschillende toiletartikelen aanwezig voor jou), mooie inrichting, erg knus. Rustige omgeving. Geen vakantiehuis, maar een echt luxueus familiehuis waar je gewoon niet meer weg wil. Ook erg ruime tuin (gazon, boomgaarden, ruime oprijlaan) met piekfijn zwembad en ligstoelen/parasols. De ontvangst van Laura was geweldig, niet opdringerig, maar gewoon altijd direct beschikbaar moest je iets nodig hebben (wat voor ons niet zo was, we hadden echt alles wat ons hart verlangde). Tijdens ons verblijf van een week werd er ook tussendoor schoongemaakt (met nieuwe handdoeken), de tuin verzorgd en het zwembad gereinigd. Kortom, had ik al gezegd dat dit huis perfect en z’n geld volledig waard is?

Gerry’s beach house provides the best of both worlds. Three minute walk to incredible beaches and 5-7 minute walk to all the restaurants and cafes in Old Town Lagos. In addition to the location, the house is excellent and spotless. Modern everything with comfortable beds and a great kitchen. We had some travel logistics as well and Gerry was incredibly accommodating and helpful to ensure we had a great time in Lagos. Definitely book!

Maria was a great host and so helpful with anything requested. We had an issue with the lobby entrance of the building and she resolved this by communicating with the building management. We had a great time in the accomodation and felt relaxed for our week abroad with the children

It's clear that Stacy and Jim take a lot of pride in their apartment home in Carvoeiro and want to ensure the amenties remain in excellent condition for their guests. They communicated in depth instructions for locating the property in town and for accessing the apartment. We had no issues finding the place and there was ample street parking available. The location can't be beat - right in the middle of town within a few minutes walk to the beach. The terrace was where we spent most of our time when we weren't out exploring and we were thankful for the awning and large umbrella that provided shade from the sun in the warm afternoons. The patio furniture and pillows were super comfy and we spent many hours relaxing in this outdoor space. We didn't use the propane grill as we took advantage of the many restaurants within easy walking distance - Villa Medici was a standout! Thank you for hosting our family of four! We loved our time in Carvoeiro.

La localisation de l’unité, la tranquillité et la propreté des lieux étaient excellentes ! La configuration de l’unité permettait à tous les membres de notre famille d’avoir leur espace de tranquillité. La terrasse couverte était un gros plus et nous permettait de pouvoir manger à l’extérieur sans être constamment au soleil. Une très belle plage se situe à moins de 5 min en voiture et la route est très bien faite pour celles et ceux qui aimeraient s’y rendre à vélo. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir :)

We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.

Great apartment looks better than photos very tastefully done interiors very helpfull and responsive hosts we had a late flight and they allowed us a late check out till 5pm,very accommodating and also allowed us an early check in. Wir waren zwei Wochen Ende Mai in der Wohnung von Pedro. Wir waren zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (4 & 1 Jahre) und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Pedro war unglaublich freundlichsten hat uns mit allen Anliegen geholfen und sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Kaffee, Tee, Öl, Essig und ein Grundstock an Gewürzen war vorhanden, sowie Spülmittel, Waschmittel und Spülmaschinentabs. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!

We had a great stay at Rita’s place. She is super responsive and thoughtful to ensure the experience was as smooth as possible. The flat is a great size for a couple or small family. The rooms have shutters which is great keeping out the Portuguese sun if you want to sleep in. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Plenty of storage for clothes, and the laundry machine is helpful if you choose to pack light. The beach is just a 3 minute drive away (we took a car instead of walking because the sun was quite strong and we have a young baby). The pool area is a five minute walk, next to a great restaurant. All in all, a great stay.. thank you Rita!

Logement refait à neuf, absolument impeccable et très agréable en famille. Le logement est très bien situé, en quelques minutes nous accédons au centre historique animé avec ses restaurants et ses rues commerçantes. Le logement est facile d'accès et il est facile de se garer dans les rues adjacentes. Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour, je recommande!
