Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sierra de Cazorla

Everything's great, a charming house in a very nice and quiet village. Spectacular views of the mountains. The house is very cozy, clean and Elena is very kind. He sent us very good recommendations with things to do around. We loved it!

Enchanting! That is my word for Ignacio’s home. The view of the Alhambra is unreal - in the morning, in the fading sunlight, at night, from the terrace, from the living room, from the bedroom. Amazing! Also, the home is spotlessly clean. Ignacio has beautiful art, books, and glassware - some of it his own mother’s creation - is not to be missed. The home is hundreds of years old, yet still seems rusticly updated. Importantly, the air conditioning and ceiling fam work great! I won’t lie the Albaicin is a challenge - the hills, the stairs the cobblestones - but I am so glad we stayed here. It was magical to fall asleep with the view of the Alhambra and the stars and to wake up to it bathed in golden light and hear the sounds of the the birds joining the morning chorus of life. The pool was lovely but our stay was too short for us to really enjoy it. It was nice to dip in the cool clear water after a hot day of walking. I highly recommend Carmencillo en Calle Carro.

The house was amazing - spotless, comfortable beds, very clean throughout, very useful washer and dryer, and the AC was great - nice and cool. Our host Monica was very quick to respond to any questions and was able to lower the AC temp at my request remotely on her phone app (the minimum was set at 23 but I wanted it colder). The view of the Alhambra from the rooftop terrace was a million bucks. We could see the terrace from the Alhambra as well. The house is just steps away from restaurants, groceries and lots of touristy shops. We arrived from a super fancy hotel in Sevilla but felt right at home here. It was great to have so much space for our family of 4 to be together, and also be able to retreat to our separate bedrooms for some peace as well. And the washer and dryer were in a separate room - lots of other places have just a washer, often in the kitchen. That let us pack a lot less which can’t be underestimated. Everything about this house and host was perfect.

The villa is well situated on the outskirts of Las Negras in a great setting. The house is nicely designed with some interesting features. There is ample space (and in our case unused areas) and the outdoors amongst the local mountains felt both private and open. The village is close by with all required amenities and the location is ideal to explore the stunning Cabo de Gata area. We had no use for them, but with several options for cinema/projections, I would suggest bring a VGA/HDMI appliance to maximise film watching options. Would definitely recommend.

What a gem! If this property is available, book it and stay as long as you can! While the photos are great online, it is even better in person. Peaceful. Beautiful walks. Comfortable. Fully equipped. The gardens and plunge pool were amazing. Nick was an amazing host. We've traveled extensively with AirBNB and Nick is one of the best hosts we have ever had. He gave amazing restaurant and hiking recommendations and was very responsive. 10 out of 10. One of the best properties we have stayed at!

Carmen's house is a charming house, decorated with so much taste and care, an Andalusian pearl. Like its owner, who was exceptional, so attentive to us. Broken 40kms from the house on the day of the general breakdown in Spain, Carmen came to save us from one night in the car with the children with our only last GPS position known without knowing if we were still there because there was no network anymore. With the help of the priesthood and his car. I'm so grateful to them, it took 2 back and forth to bring us back as we are 5.. A memorable stay in Lahiguera in every way. THANKS for everything Carmen

Our stay at Alicias place was wonderful. Everything was as described. The parking was close and it was close to some great walks. My only comment would be that the outdoor area mentioned and photographed in the listing is tiny, next to a public walkway and is at the entry to another apartment. (But still had a great view over the valley).

The service with Guillermo was fantastic. Very attentive and a very friendly service. We appreciate the welcome in person and all the information you gave us about the town and the surroundings to visit, take routes, where to eat... The house is unbeatable, very good location, very practical and it didn't lack any detail. It's just like the photos and description. And the village is charming, as soon as you arrive you are enveloped by a feeling of peace and tranquility. It has everything, bars, supermarket, pharmacy... even its own river route, very comfortable and suitable for everyone (we did it with a stroller). And a very good location and connection, 15 minutes from Granada.

Truly this was the perfect space to spend our time in Granada. We were close to amazing food, the Alhambra, hiking, and many other activities. Moring walks to the best coffee and breakfast, followed by a relaxing stay throughout the day, was truly a gift. We loved every corner of the space, from the elegant decor to the amenities and location; this was a gift of a space to stay in. We will be back and know where we are staying when we do. Thank you!

Our stay lived up to its name, it was wonderful! In the apartment everything is great, the cleanliness, the rooms, the fireplace, a luxury…. The common areas are spacious and very enjoyable, especially with the sun. The little donkey was also important, the little one was delighted with it. Regarding Paco, thank him for his recommendations and for always being so attentive to us. We're sure we'll be back.

Everything went very well. The directions were very simple and also gave us a lot of help for things to do in the area. The place is very cozy and also allows you to breathe tranquility. The casita is ideal…it has everything. We will definitely repeat.

My family really enjoyed our stay here while in Granada. The location was great. Very close to the city center and the Granada Cathedral. And Fani's place had plenty of room for my family of five to spread out. Everyone got their own room! And the kids loved having a private elevator that went right up to the penthouse. We also made great use of the large patio space. Check in was super easy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. If we ever make it back to Granada again, we would definitely choose to stay here.

It's an amazing location to enjoy quiet and nature! I loved it :) Just be careful with the car inside the village, the access is a bit difficult, but there is a nice big parking down the village that is perfect to park the car!

Since the bookings, they have been very kind and easy to reach. The apartment was super well located in a quiet little corner and the instructions were very clear for accessing the accommodation. In addition, they had left a list of suggestions for activities and restaurants to try, it was a very nice touch!

What a beautiful place this is! Fresh oranges from the trees and just enjoying the mountain view. Pool area was nice with sunbeds and it was kept clean. The apartment had all the necessary supplies as well as extra towels and blankets. Even the fireplace become handy as we experienced the massive electricity blackout during our stay. The hosts handled this situation as well as possible and kept us up to date. 100% recommended.

The accommodation is as advertised, an incredible villa with all the services described. Ideal for getting to know Granada and its surroundings with friends or family. Carlos is a fantastic host, very attentive and always available for whatever we needed. 100% recommended.

This is a true hidden gem, easily the house with the best view I’ve ever been. The hosts are friendly and responsive. They were also very flexible concerning the checkin and checkout time. Would surely recommend this place!

Travel as a family, with children and pets, celebrating a special occasion. Everything was ready upon our arrival, with a crib and high chair as we had requested. Communication with the hosts has been close and attentive. The villa is very well equipped and the area is very quiet and close to downtown Granada. We've been very comfortable. Thank you!!

We loved our stay in this tiny Andalusian village in the hills. It was in a peaceful and beautiful location. We felt so at home there and loved the traditional feel to the house. We ate outside every mealtime, enjoying the views from the wonderfully spacious garden and made the most of the pool. We ventured out to Competa and visited a great new restaurant (by day) and also a trendy insta worthy bar (by night) called Adrianos. We also visited the coast once (be careful not to take the small mountain road back. Big mistake on our part!). We knew the parking was on the road, but the access steps to the house are uneven and steep which was not a problem in the slightest for my husband and but proved a struggle for my mother in law and her wonky hip! Maybe make that clearer for those who find access tricky. All in all, we loved it here and are so grateful for the handy hints offered by the owners so promptly. We hope to return with our grown up children next year! Thank you.
