The cottage accommodates 6 guests. The cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of ski trails, slopes and nature trails. From the large windows of the living room/kitchen, you can admire the mountain landscape and see the starry sky and the northern lights in the evenings. Distance to the slopes 1.4 km. 10/2024 log villa completed on the private shore of the Tornio River. A stunning and idyllic river view from the balcony and terrace. This is where you'll stay peacefully with a larger group. Ski trails start just a few hundred meters away. Ylläs and Rovaniemi about 100 km away. Approximately 6 km to the nearest store. Information about activities hosted by businesses in the area can be found on the Travelpello site. Like Rtavaara Ski Resort SoulMate Huskies and Johka Reindeer Farm and Northern Lights Safaris.

Villa Magic Sauna Cottage

Villa Magia is situated in Kaukonen village on the banks of the river Ounasjoki. Sauna Cottage as the other log buildings in the courtyard are from the late 19th century. Sauna is recently renovated to suit more modern comforts. The accommodation includes a convertible sofa, a loft bed, a fridge, a microwave oven, a water cooker, a coffee maker, plates, cups and cutlery. But there is no proper kitchen! And in the Sauna Cottage there is a Finnish sauna, of course with a shower and a toilet.

Private log cabin in the middle of Finnish nature

Almost a hundred years old log cabin that's been renovated to fit some modern needs. The cabin consists of a large kitchen/living room area and two bedroom which both have beds for two people. Couch in the living room can also be turned into a double bed. There is an indoor dry toilet, also outside toilet. The cabin does have electricity and is equipped with e.g. tv and a microwave. There is both a gas stove and a wood-burning stove. I will bring 50 liters of water in prepared containers.

Forest Ranger's House–Authentic Lappish atmosphere

House is located 5 km from the center of Äkäslompolo in the beautiful Lapland countryside and belongs to the Kuoppa´s farm. Here you can experience the authentic Lapland atmosphere. The house has an area of 127 square meter and can accommodate six people. It is best suited for 1-2 couples, a family, or a small group of friends. For an additional fee and advance booking, we offer breakfast at Cafe & Butik for €15/person and traditional reindeer roast from our own kitchen for €25/person.

The cabin sits in a tranquil spot by a river above the Arctic Circle, far from streetlights, where the sky is dark and open in every direction — perfect for watching the northern lights. You can wait for the auroras in the comfort of a warm cabin or the riverside sauna, and when they appear, admire them straight from the terrace. Other winter activities, like snowshoeing and husky rides, are also close by and easy to reach.

Lappee, on the shore of Tornionjoki

A fisherman, a wilderness, or just a haven for a peaceful place! This home is located in Kolari, the village of Lappea. Lappea is known as the fishermen's cove. Inside, you'll find a living room with a large stone fireplace, a bunk bed and a couch, a well-equipped kitchen-living room, and an open bedroom with a double bed. There is also a sauna with a wood stove. There is an open lean-to in the outdoor spaces.
