Cottage vacation rentals in Sicily

We had a great time. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The road was not as bad as advertised in the reviews. The accommodation, as well as the amenities allowed us to have a pleasant stay.

Beautiful house with a very nice view. Cefalu is 10 minutes away by car! Antonella was a lovely host who made sure our stay was perfect. Recommended for everyone!

The place was very tranquil and serene. You need a car to get around. There are a number of places to visit once you have a car. Insect repellent recommended in the evenings. Nino was very welcoming and helpful with our queries throughout our stay.

Had a nice stay. Very close to the beautiful Turkish Steps and the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. In reality, the view is even more beautiful than in the photos. Tip to the host: an extra spare key. When I left for the supermarket one time with the house key, the electricity and thus the air conditioning etc. went off automatically. In itself very environmentally friendly, but sometimes not convenient if one of the two goes out of the house. Care is friendly and is there to give you a nice stay. He arranged cake for me wife her birthday.

We really enjoyed the stay. 👍👍 The grounds are very nice with a great environment/landscape around it. In addition, the grounds are optimally maintained. Our 2-person room was also nice. It was clean and tidy. We were even greeted by the hostess with a homemade cake. The only point where we do not give 5 stars is the location in terms of accessibility to attractions. The nearest town, Sciacca, is not far, but you have to drive quite a distance to reach the well-known sights of Sicily. Therefore, a rental car/car is definitely recommended at the accommodation. The two hosts made a very pleasant impression. Communication was very easy via the Airbnb app messenger and you always got quick answers. All in one, we definitely recommend the place! If you have a car, it's definitely worth it! We wish the hosts all the best! 😊🙏

Staying at Monica's was a fantastic experience, beautiful location, the accommodation was well-kept and elegant, it had a very relaxing atmosphere... the host was immediately very helpful and friendly... I hope to come back because Sicily is fantastic.

It's a gorgeous old house. Beautifully maintained. It feels like a rogue in time as a guest. May was especially cold this year, so it's a good idea to bring warm clothes, as the evenings and mornings were cool. Very comfortable beds. We slept like children. I highly recommend this place. It's too big for 2 people, but it was worth it.

Just perfect. There were so many small thoughtful details of equipment that made our stay feel like we’re staying at a real home rather than an half empty Airbnb. The photos looked already promising but we were shocked that the house looks even better in real life! The cars didn’t bother us much, as you can just close the doors if you want complete silence.

Very comfortable and large house, very nice outdoor living space, conveniently located for the beaches and various locations such as Syracuse, Noto, Avola etc... Very pleasant experience, I highly recommend it, house immersed in peace and serenity Ornella, Giuseppe's wife, a very kind, friendly and helpful person, suggested activities to do. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a great stay.

La Casetta was delightful. Well laid out with lots of interesting and quirky things and lots of beautiful plants in the outside. It felt so peaceful and safe. Sperlinga is a very interesting village - amazing castle and history with fab views in all directions. Very helpful hosts. Next time we would have more than two nights as there is lots to explore in the area.

A little paradise surrounded by nature. With just as magical a hostess : ) We felt extremely comfortable and wonderful and in good hands. Almost too nice to leave the oasis to follow Marion's numerous exploration suggestions… THANK YOU MARION! There would certainly have been a lot more exciting things to talk about : )

The perfect place to unwind, relax and dream for people who want to be on their own. Free, loving atmosphere. The host is very, very nice, helpful and always available. Exciting walk to the beach. Very good with dog. Many seating areas to walk around the beautiful house depending on the time of day. We would like to come again.

Nonna Giuseppina House is a wonderful location and matched any description given on Airbnb. You have a great view of the sea and a wild and empty beach close to the house. The house is authentically furnished, big and beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom which suited us perfectly. Bruno and Licia were very responsive, helpful and caring. We had a great time.

We've enjoyed our stay so much here. Great location. Ideal place to wind down after enjoying Sicily.

Such a special place! This was our first holiday away as a new family with our 8 month old baby and we were a bit nervous about the trip - but it was 1000% worth any stress travelling there to then relax in this beautiful oasis. We loved walking down to the sea admiring the trees laden with fruit, flowers, butterflies, enormous cactuses, olive and lemon groves and listening to birdsong. Our hosts Dario & Agnes were as friendly as their dogs who our little one quickly became enchanted by. The cottage is cosy, and its veranda and outdoor kitchen and shower make it extra special. I loved cooking in the simple but well kitted out kitchen. Delicious fresh ingredients, nice sharp knives (a welcome touch for anyone who likes to cook) and a view out onto greenery made it such a peaceful place to prepare a meal. Which we’d then enjoy in the cool shade under flowers and greenery of the veranda… am already dreaming of being back! We can’t recommend this place enough.

the place was great in the middle of orange, lemon and even avocado trees. There is a highway nearby but somehow the noise did not disturb as at all. We were not very lucky with the weather as there were a lot of raining and it also affected accommodation because it felt a bit cold and moist in the rooms, but I believe that in high season and hot weather it is ok. Rooms are located in 2 separate buildings and each room has separate entrance except one room where you have kids room first and then go through it to parents bedroom. But the crib for our infant was old style and very nice. I like it. There are 2 shops nearby when you get out of the house - MD is on the right side - about 5min by car and Lidl is on the left side, about 7-8min by car. There is outdoor kitchen which is well equipped with all the necessary appliances. And also hot water.

Simona’s property is located in an unbelievable awesome spot of the island of Pantelleria, not the usual Dammuso typical of the island, a modern charming variant . Pantelleria is a full relaxing , recharging and chillout place, The view from any point of the property is insanely gorgeous. For the lovers of sunrise view this place its a little nest in heaven! Simona was extremely helpful and Pino her caretaker was extremely kind and always ready to help us. Definitely an added value to the whole package. If back to the East side of the island we will definitely take Simona’s house in consideration

We loved our stay. The house has a plenty of space, it was clean and had all the things we needed (and more). We felt instantly relaxed and our daughter enjoyed running around and exploring. The whole property was completely empty which made it even better (there are two houses). The beach is just like 2 minutes away, again we were mostly on our own. There are beautiful towns to explore not too far

We had to arrive late because of a delay of the flight and they waited for us. This was very nice of them. There are two flat buildings each with 2 bedrooms and kitchen. One is a bit older but it is spacious. There is a very big pool and electric barbecue. It is very quite and welcoming. The owners were very nice and helpful. It is 15mins to Trapani.

We enjoyed it very much. The accommodation is in an absolutely quiet location with a fantastic view over the city. We spent hours sitting on the balcony and admiring the scenery. Everything was also as described in the accommodation. Everything clean and working. The only point of criticism is the somewhat difficult journey, as you have to err on very steep narrow roads to find it. But Marta also helped us very well there and described the way to us until we were there!

We stayed at Bartolo's house last week. Clean and comfortable home and very peaceful area. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the veranda from which we saw beautiful sunsets over the sea. We received a great welcome from Bartolo and his wife and they also offered us the very tasty cunzato bread as well as all the tips on restaurants, hikes and places to visit. Having spent a wonderful week we hope to return! Laura Marica and Simona.

The apartment is in a great location. Enjoy Palermo, which can be reached by bus, and the beautiful Mondello beach, a 5-minute walk. As for Maurizio, he is very responsive. We highly recommend it!

We had a nice, quiet and relaxed time. There is a lot of seating and tables inside and outside. Beautiful private yard, with fantastic ocean view. The accommodation offers a lot of space and the kitchen is well equipped except for a neat chef's knife and a large pan. Plenty of dishes and cutlery for large families and a dishwasher available. Adapter for Schuko plug partially available. It could have been a little cleaner, but it was tidy and the living space was very homely and decorated. Beaches can be reached in a few minutes' walk or you can also enter the water directly at the house via the stones. There is the possibility of kite and windsurfing right nearby. In early October, the water temperature was still very good for swimming. Some restaurants are within walking distance (about 15 minutes). Many shopping opportunities can be reached by car within minutes. Good, friendly and fast communication from the hosts - thank you!
