Lake house vacation rentals in Shuswap Lake

Mona was an outstanding host! She was warm and welcoming and had left little chocolates and wine as a welcome. The space itself was very clean, private and spacious. I was staying by myself for work and found it to be a very peaceful stay. And the cherry on top was being so close to nature and the lovely walk around the lake. Thank you Mona!

We stayed at this awesome lakeside home for a golf trip in the Kamloops area over the May long wknd (8 guys in total). It was more than accommodative for our group, with an ample amount of beds (10 separate beds in total). It was still quite cold in May to enjoy the full benefit of this lakeside location but we loved jumping off the private dock for a quick cold plunge in the mornings. This is a great blend of cozy cabin vibes with a wood-burning fireplace + bbq on the upper level and a recreation centre on the lower level. There were all sorts of fun games/activities to enjoy including billiards, ping pong, cornhole, cribbage, and a wide assortment of other board games. This really kept our evenings rolling after our golf rounds every day which was important as this location, while serene and scenic, is about a half hour drive removed from downtown Kamloops area and cab service is limited. Evenings in here were a lot of fun. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was immaculate with everything provided we needed to cook meals for 6. View of the lake is marvelous. Ryan was very responsive for a few minor issues we had created by previous guests. Access to well stocked and reasonably priced full grocery store is close by. Enjoyed our brief stay.

We had a girls weekend here and were blown away by the house and property. It is incredibly well kept, a full kitchen with everything you need. Justin was friendly and responsive. I had an amazing time and would recommend to anyone!

It’s so cool living at the lake side. So convenient, you can find everything that you need. I would like to come back in the summer!

The staff I had staying there had requested to go back because they enjoyed the first visit so much. Destiny was a great host and everything fit my staffs needs completely. If I have the chance to book again, I will!

I’m hesitant to give a 5 star review, only because we would love to keep this cabin hidden for ourselves every winter. We were on an annual snowmobile trip. We ride Park and Nelson all the time. It was great not having to drive home every night to the kelowna area. We rode our sleds right from the driveway. The trail fee guy was a few hundred feet up the road. Cabin was exactly what you should expect. Clean, neat and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We would park our sleds, hop in the hot tub and relax with beers and cook great dinners overlooking the lake. What else can you ask for.

Absolutely perfect vacation. From the house, to the beach, to the seating areas, to the views from every single window, you will not be disappointed. The location was perfect, incredibly quiet and secluded, even with neighbours, it felt like an island. Host was quick to respond and help when we had questions. House was well stocked, they thought of everything. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!!!

Denita was wonderful to communicate with. Very fast to respond. Check in was a breeze. Bedrooms and bathroom on upper level. Lower level consists of a generously supplied kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own food. Lots of hot water. Laundry facilities. Smart TV. Internet speed is 300+ mbps upload and download. Wood burning stove. Lots of windows in the one wall letting lots of natural sunlight. Patio with medium size bbq and partial covered area. The wood stove was a nice bonus, used a few day during our stay as it was -25C. Lots of deer. Located about 35 minutes from Polson Park in Vernon or 60 minutes from Kelowna airport. Exactly what we were looking for. Away from the busy cities. Walking trails and parks nearby. Lovely quiet cul de sac. Maybe bringing slipper’s for the lower level if temps are extremely cold during your stay. All in all this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Denita and this property.

Shelly’s place was exceptional. It was the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed at- spotless. Lots of towels and linens. Lovely decor. Large space, lots of room for everyone. Thoughtful additions, hooks to hang things on coffee bar, bikes, great backyard. We were in town for a family gathering and it made our extended weekend memorable. Highly recommended and would stay at again in a heartbeat.

Diane’s house is absolutely beautiful. It’s in a great location in the Shuswap. Walking distance to the lake, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The home was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I appreciated how the home felt like a home away from home. Kim was fabulous, checked in, and was always a short call away. Thank you for the fabulous stay.

A fabulous 3 day stay at this gem! My only regret is that we didn’t book it for a week long stay…next year!

Amazing place to stay with beautiful surroundings

Peaceful gated community next to the water. Lots of parking. Clean space and helpful hosts. Our favourite part was having a private garage for drying all of our sled gear. Perfect spot for sledders.

A great place at the always wonderful Mabel lake.

My family and I had the best summer at Dawne’s place. Location was perfect! Definitely a hidden gem. We will definitely be back next summer!

The house that we stayed in had lots of amenities, lots of pots, pans, dishes, knives, forks. House was very clean when we arrived. All of the fridge stove microwave Was very modern, and up-to-date, barbecue was great, nice, and big lots of burners, and it also had a fire table that made it comfortable to sit outside in the evenings. It was everything the host said that it would be. Thank you had a great time.

We loved our time here. Exactly as described, easy to find and a short drive to downtown sicamous. Rupert the dog was the greatest, he makes himself right at home! Thanks for the stay, will definitely be back!
