We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

We found this cute Airbnb just up the road from where our son was getting married. We couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was perfect.

This Kinsol cottage is well worth the price, and is entirely private, unlike most Airbnb rentals in Vancouver Island, which are suites in someone’s house. It was clean and well designed. As an avid Airbnb booker I really appreciated that Liz had all the condiments and spices you would need for a trip away from home. The backyard is peaceful and we had no neighbours while we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub and the sound of the birds, we even had an owl land in the yard. The bedroom loft has steep stairs, which is noted in Liz’s description, you should go down them sideways (we were fine, but probably not suitable for elderly). The bed was firm yet very comfortable and the reclining loveseat had us falling asleep every night. One hour to Victoria, one hour to Nanaimo, 1 3/4 hour to Port Renfrew (if you take the Pacific Marine route be prepared for a very very windy road). Kinsol trestle was a 10 minute walk away and an amazing hike. Would I recommend Liz’s cottage, absolutely!!

Firstly, this place is amazing, beautiful and peaceful. It's clean, tidy and high end. Melodie has thought of everything and was very proactive with helpful information about the place and the area. We didn't have much free time while we were there, so I think we'll need to return and spend more time chilling in the future! This would be a great location for 2 couples spending time away, but wanting their own space. Highly recommended.

Kathy’s cottage is located in a private and peaceful spot on the cove. It is our third visit! We enjoy cycling and walking on the Galloping Goose Trail and exploring the beaches along Route 14. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Kathy is a gracious host responding promptly to our inquiries. We will be back.

This might be the first time I give 5 stars for an airbnb and it is absolutely well deserved. Julie and Johns place was beautiful, clean, quiet, and peaceful. The privacy and natural setting was well worth the price. The hosts were very thoughtful and had the placed stocked with all that you would need for a comfortable stay. The tall trees, sounds of birds, and animal sightings (eagles and deer) made it hard to want to leave! We truly loved our stay!

Richard and Rebecca's place was a peaceful oasis well off the main highway in Sooke. We loved seeing the chickens, deer and the cottontails. The place was impeccably clean and well designed.

We've stayed at Lynda's place a few times now, even trying another spot run by someone else in the same location, and end up coming back to Lynda's because it just can't compare! There is attention to detail, focus on making her place feel at home, and welcoming with the communication and local recommendations. Port Renfrew is such a beautiful place to visit, I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.

Cozy stay :) Jason gave us a heads up that the power in the town was out several hours before our arrival and provided us with updates every hour. He gave us the opportunity to change our plans if needed. We are happy we ended up deciding to still come because the power came back very shortly after arriving. The house heated back up quickly and we had a wonderful time going to some of the places Jason recommended.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake-side cottage. The place is right on the lake with amazing views. The interior is super cozy, with comfy couches and beds. It's one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. We would love to come again!

We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. We truly appreciated the opportunity for a late check-out, which made things much easier for us. Our son was participating in a regatta on Shawnigan Lake, so staying at Shery’s place was incredibly convenient.

Stayed for a week and it felt like home away from home. Had everything we needed. Located in a quiet location with lots of hiking nearby. The cottage is bright, clean, roomy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our dog was particularly fond of the sun room where she could watch the deer on their morning visits. We hope to be back!

Wow we loved this place. We so easily could have stayed there for a few more nights (we did 3). It was well located to explore that part of the island and a lot quieter apparently, than more touristy spots such as Tofino (but just as beautiful). We spent our evenings cooking on the bbq and relaxing by the firepit. We ventured down to the beach, which you’d definitely need to do in daylight but was lovely and rustic although there are amazing sunset spots a bit further along from the Cold Shoulder Cafe. The cabin was super comfortable and has everything you need. If we visit the island again, we’ll be back! Ps. We saw a wolf just after dark- incredible experience!

Karen is such a warm and communicative host! It was everything as expected and was a great spot for a weekend away. Highly recommend :) we will be back!

We had a wonderful family vacation at Christine’s beautiful home! Everyone enjoyed the sauna and the fire pit! The gorgeous view speaks for itself!! The home was spacious and accommodated our group of 7 easily for games in the evening in the living room and around the dining table For meals! The Beds were comfy and the space was clean and had enough towels etc to accommodate everyone! The kitchen was well stocked with all the things you could need for cooking! Christine was easy to get ahold of and super accommodating!! We give this spot a ten out of ten!!! Thanks again Christine we really enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at Steve and Claudette's cabin on Saltspring. The cabin itself was very well maintained with a comfortable king size bed with forest views that we loved. It was well located only a couple minutes away from Beddis beach, a ten minute drive into Ganges for shops/restaurants, and when you're back at the cabin it was totally secluded and peaceful with a beautiful garden on the property and views of the ocean. Steve and Claudette were thoughtful and sweet, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We actually ended up booking another trip here later in the summer... so that should say enough. We've been coming to Saltspring for years, and may have found our new favourite spot.

The cottage is beautiful with a great outside area and property. Kitchen had everything we needed and beds were really comfortable. Plus the media set up was superb! Ben was great with communication would definitely recommend this place!

A Cozy Retreat in the Heart of Port Renfrew My stay at The French Girl's Lair was everything I hoped for and more. Nestled in a prime location, the cabin is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Port Renfrew, especially if you're into fishing. The proximity to the water made our daily fishing trips incredibly convenient. While we didn't get to enjoy the firepit due to the fire ban during our stay, I can imagine how perfect it would have been to sit out on the spacious deck in the evening, surrounded by nature. Even without the fire, the deck was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cabin itself is well-appointed and cozy, with all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was fully stocked, allowing us to prepare meals easily, and the living area was the perfect place to relax. The attention to detail in the cabin's design made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
