The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

The house is adjacent to former cross-county skiing trails that are used as hiking trails. You can easily make a short drive to Lake Placid & Whiteface for skiing. Keene with many hiking trails is 20 minutes away; many hiking trails are within 3-5 minutes drive (Rocky Peak, Hurricane, Baxter).

The property has its own rocky beach and dock, a perfect location for fishing, boating, and all other water based activities. Quiet neighbors to the North and even quieter neighbors to the South (being situated next to the Historic Trombley Cemetery). The setting is an ideal place for privacy and relaxation.

There are 5 bedrooms, 2 living areas, main kitchen, kitchenette, hot tub, wood pellet stove, 3 arcades, bumper pool, dart board, and fire pit area. This home is private, but accessible. Working remotely is a breeze with our work desk set up!

Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort is just an 11 mile / 18 minute ride that takes you through a stunning scenic notch along the West Branch of the Ausable River. Lake Placid is 20 miles / 30 minutes away. Dogs are welcome at $75 per dog, per stay, up to two dogs.
