This is our second time staying here and it was flawless as always! Love Shawano, love the lake, we love coming up here and Monte's place always make's it better.

We had a wonderful stay at Rustric Retreat! The home was exactly as described — warm, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with a rustic charm that made it feel like a true getaway. One of the highlights was how well stocked everything was. The kitchen had all the essentials (and then some), which made cooking meals super convenient. The bedrooms were comfortable, clean, and had plenty of linens, pillows, and extra blankets. You can tell the hosts really care about their guests — everything was spotless, and the small touches throughout the space made it feel welcoming and homey. It’s the kind of place where you can just show up, unpack, and relax. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. We’d love to come back!

Great location with dock on Shawano Lake. Quiet neighborhood. Easy drive into Shawano, Bonduel, and surrounding areas. Great launching point for exploring area. Marina just down the road rents boats. Bowling alley close by for rainy days.

This place was perfect for our families to meet up for a quick weekend getaway. Three nice sized bedrooms with super comfy beds, and one room with a toy chest full of kid toys and books! We were able to take our boat with us and the dock worked perfectly for it. Even caught some big large mouth bass right off the dock. Huge grill was super handy for cooking dinners and the kitchen was one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve used in a while, and it had a stocked coffee bar! All in all, it was perfect.

Place was great. we were there for the NFL Draft so we did not use the lake and other amenitys but it looked like a lot of things to do. I would diffidently rent this place again

We had a great time.. it was so nice to have a place where my Labrador was safe and comfortable. I always worry about neighbors being too close and we had room to roam. I might suggest letting folks know the house is rural for those who might be likeminded as me.

Sarah is an amazing host! she was very thorough and informative. Also very kind, accommodating, and responsive! Cottage was in very good condition and clean and steps away from the lake. would definitely stay again!

Katharina's place is exactly as described. We road our bikes to the Moutain Bay state trail from her house then had access to a great bike trail.

Outstanding RBO Host! I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Nate’s property. From the moment I booked, he was incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect from clear check-in instructions to thoughtful touches throughout the home. The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described. It’s clear that Nate takes great pride in creating a comfortable and memorable experience for his guests. Our stay was great. With a last minute booking, Stephanie had availablity and was ready for us to get there, same day. We didnt have to cancel our UTV trip and had a great Memorial Day weekend. There was room for parking. A fun little town with a bunch of different food options near by. Areas for fishing and kayaking and was an overall great stay.

Caitlin was very responsive to all of our silly questions, being that this was our first time using an airbnb. Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings right on the river and lots of wildlife.

I had a wonderful stay at Michael’s Cottage in Wittenberg—it was exactly what I was hoping for and more. The space was *super clean*, peaceful, and made for a relaxing getaway. There was plenty to do in the area, especially if you're into hiking and fishing—tons of beautiful trails and great spots nearby. Michael was incredibly responsive and made the whole experience seamless. You can tell he cares about his guests’ comfort. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future!

The house was beautiful and in the perfect location to the lake and shopping. The house had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. It was perfect for our stay.

Some positives- Easy drive to Green Bay, on the lake, fully stocked kitchen and bath, room for larger family, and clean. Would recommend if you want relaxing weekend!

This was our second stay needless to say it’s perfect for what we need. Close to town and US Air, check in and out was smooth and Will is extremely responsive when I had a couple of questions.

Jonathan was so helpful before, during and after our visit. The house, especially the kitchen, was very well stocked. The hot tub was perfectly maintained, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. We enjoyed the relaxing lake views and sunsets from the large deck. Huge rec room with lots of amenities. The water around the deck was clear of weeds and debris, perfect for the kids to swim. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.

The best New Years Eve experience with Yana and Jim! They were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Anything we needed or any question we had was taken care of very quickly. Perfect Midwest hospitality. Will be coming back!
