A serene waterside scene reveals a long wooden pier extending into calm waters. Bright blue skies complement the shoreline, where several houses are framed by lush trees. The sandy beach is visible, leading up to the grassy areas along the water's edge.

Peaceful and family friendly home

DeniseRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Our party was made up of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children, aged 2 and 4. The house is in a beautiful location with a huge garden, the children loved both the trampoline and goal, and we all loved watching the red squirrels. The bedrooms are a really good size and extremely comfortable. Two living rooms, one with lots of children's toys in, meant everyone could relax in their own space. It provided a wonderfully comfortable home to return to after a day exploring the Isle of Wight's many attractions. Everyone had a brilliant time and we've come back with lots of happy memories. Thanks to Rory and Jen for all their help and advice. We'd love to return again soon.

A truly wonderful place in a beautiful location. The perfect house to come together and celebrate. Plenty of room to gather together and lots of cosy nooks to escape. Books and games like chess. Great little swimming spot just at the end of the meadow. Wonderful views. Everything you need. Felt like a luxury break. Thank you so much for a magical weekend.

Blake's Barn, Mattingley Farm

DanielRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very comfortable and homely. Clean and well designed. Spacious, lovely kitchen and the log burner was a bonus. We felt right at home and would definitely go back.
A well-lit hallway features a herringbone-patterned floor and connects several rooms. A full-length mirror is mounted on the wall, and a small ceiling light provides additional illumination. Two doors lead to adjacent spaces, while a front door opens to the outside, inviting natural light.

Tranquil bungalow in Newbridge

Had a great stay, was a great location for everything we wanted to do and was never a long drive to anything we done, the home is lovely and clean and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, my children loved it and so did my mother in law, there are some great resturants nearby who cook with locally sourced food which we are great lovers of farm to plate. Location is great, quiet, and scenic. Ammenaties where fantastic and had everything you needed. Cleanliness was spotless Neighbours where lovely. We will definitely take the chance to return we throughly enjoyed our stay on the island exploring all the different sights to see.

Lovely stay, great location to get to anywhere. Nice to be able to stay and chill if weather not great, Lots of room everywhere, well equipped kitchen, beautiful views and large outdoor area with bbq, seating, lots of parking room. Friendly helpful host. Would recommend much better value than a guest house 🤩

A secluded cabin in a glorious downland setting

LaurieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
A stunning secluded location with outstanding views. Great for wildlife spotting. The kids loved the enormous outdoor space to run free and picking blackberries for their breakfast. Cabin is compact but has everything you need. No mains electricity but solar/battery so no high power appliances. Beds are comfy and bedding provided. Centrally located, seemed to be about 20-30 mins from anywhere on the island. Be warned that the steep grass track up to the cabin can be slippery and you may have to leave the car at the bottom of the hill and walk in bad weather. We only had to once and it actually added to the adventure! All in all a fantastic place with a very friendly host. Looking forward to going back. Thanks Charlie.
An indoor pool area features clear blue waters surrounded by a non-slip surface. A large water slide curves down into the pool, with colorful play structures visible in the background. Flags hang from the ceiling, and ample seating is provided along the edges.

Lovely caravan thorness bay

VigneshRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rob’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out were the personal touches: Rob and Natasha surprised us with anniversary and birthday decorations, which made our stay incredibly special and memorable. Communication was smooth, the check-in process was easy, and the space had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Rob is a truly thoughtful and generous host, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here — we’d love to come back someday!
A winding gravel pathway leads through well-maintained greenery. Uniformly shaped bushes line the sides, while lush trees provide dappled sunlight. The expansive garden area beyond features a variety of plants, offering a serene atmosphere.

Wonderful Holiday Barn with outdoor pool

PeterRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. Thank you team Shalfleet Farm.
