Vacation rentals in Sfakaki

The villa owners and Etouri team redefined what it means to be a host. We were blown away by how they went above and beyond in so many ways, from surprising us with a traditional Greek dish on arrival and gifting us various fruits, olive oil and tea, to organising a delicious freshly made birthday cake and candles for my Mum’s big day. Chrysoula from Etouri also deserves her own shout out. She helped me track down some tofu (I’m vegetarian) as they don’t sell it in many local supermarkets, and even dropped off her own personal training weights for my sister, who was looking for a nearby gym to keep training while on holiday. We truly felt so welcome and celebrated. It felt as if we were relatives who had returned home after a long time being away. We could tell just how much joy the owners get from treating their guests well. To them, we weren’t just guests. We were family. It was beautiful to witness from start to finish. I highly recommend booking.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. We are very satisfied with the villa and would love to come back next year. The villa has a private pool and a private entrance to the beach. However, water at the beach was dirty most of the time and wasn’t really comfortable to swim there with a baby, also because of the rock bottom, so we were driving to different public beaches. You must have a car, because due to the weather conditions it wasn’t possible to us to walk anywhere near.

Sehr netter Empfang, herzliche Gastgeber die alle Fragen sofort beantworteten. Das Haus ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet. So wie auf den Fotos. Ein herrlich schöner Pool mit genügend Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten findet man vor. Der Kiesstrand liegt unmittelbar ca. 50 meter vor dem Haus. Ein schöner Sandstrand ist in nur 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Stadt Rethymnon ist in ca. 15-20 Autominuten entfernt. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr weiterempfehlen. Wir haben jetzt schon einige Airbnb Buchungen hinter uns und schon sehr nette Gastgeber kennengelernt. Auch hier waren die Gastgeber wirklich super freundlich. Aber besonders hervorzuheben sind wirklich die Eigentümer dieser Unterkunft, die sich wirklich den kompletten Aufenthalt wie die eigene Familie um uns als Gäste gekümmert haben. Nicht nur kostenlose Lebensmittel bei der Ankunft oder etliche Geschenke für uns und die Kinder bei Abreise sind hervorzuheben, sondern auch jedes noch so kleine Problem wurde in Sekundenschnelle mit einer außergewöhnlichen Freundlichkeit gelöst. Die Eigentümer Mrs. D und ihr Ehemann sind einfach supersüße, freundliche und liebevolle Menschen. Auch die Villa ist ein Traum. Modern, liebevoll und vor allem auch funktional clever ausgestattet. Uns hat es wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Ob Küche, Jacuzzi, Pool oder der herrliche Blick aufs Meer, alles war atemberaubend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und können einen Aufenthalt wärmstens weiterempfehlen

We stayed for 2 weeks at Inn Villa in Sfakaki in August. Weather was beautiful and the pool was very much needed in the hot weather. The Villa is lovely! Kitchen is well equipped with every possible appliance and cooking utensil. The filtered cold water machine was a lifesaver! The BBQ area is amazing in the evenings. The owner kindly installed the electric spit roast so we slow roasted a chicken and it was divine! The owner Nikoleta was wonderful. Messaged throughout the holiday to check if we needed anything. The pool was cleaned every other day so always looked perfect. Beach towels and pool towels are provided, and some inflatables Thalassis restaurant 15 mins walk away, Greek Dancing on Wednesdays! lots of fun!! The local supermarket has everything you need but is more expensive than Lidl. Visit Margarites - 20 mins away! Beautiful! ❤️ The Villa is 1 hour from Heraklion and Chania and 45 mins from the South coast so car is essential but definitely worth it 👍 Great Villa!!❤️❤️

Villa Marae was the perfect place for our family holiday. The villa was really modern, spacious and had a luxury feel. All amenities were great and we had no problems. The management company along with Maria and her dad (the owners) were incredibly hospitable and were always on the end of the phone if we had any questions. They did a pre-arrival shop for us, organised our airport transfers and had a full concierge service. Every room was great (no room that was worse than any others) and all had en suite bathrooms. Location is good as it’s so close to the beach where you can watch the sunset (1 minute walk) and access beach bars and a local taverna. Would highly recommend and we would love to revisit!

High-quality bed mattresses — there was an earthquake and my friend slept through it I highly recommend this stunning villa to anyone looking for a relaxing, quality getaway with their loved ones. It’s conveniently located halfway between Heraklion and Chania (about an hour’s drive to each), it features a pool overlooking the ocean, and each room has its own bathroom and a balcony furnished with a coffee table and chairs or a sofa — perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset with a cup of coffee! PS: the beds were so incredibly comfortable that during an actual earthquake on our last night, my friend didn’t even feel the earth shake lol.

We had an idyllic week The villa was perfect. Katerina is a wonderful host who always went above and beyond expectations. The welcome pack she left for us was just the right amount to get started and a little more, including olive oil, vinegar and raki all made by her family. We were walking distance to coffee shops, supermarkets, some lovely restaurants and a rocky beach close by. The villa is close to the main road but we did not feel too disturbed by that. There is an operational potato field right in front of the villa and it just so happened to be picking week when we were there. The tractor was was a little noisy and smelly but that is unlikely to happen very often and they left 2 big boxes of potatoes by the gate for us. Help was available arranging taxis, restaurant reservations, excursions, car hire, airport transfers and more, and messages were answered very quickly. Some of us went to relax, others to be more adventurous and every box was ticked. We hope to return
