Fantastic stay! The villa had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the pool was absolutely amazing. I stayed here with my brother, and we especially appreciated the peace and quiet, along with the great location. Being so close to Rethymno made it a perfect base for sightseeing around the island. Manolis, our host, was always available and gave us excellent tips for local restaurants and attractions, which we really enjoyed. Each morning, fresh bread was delivered, so we didn't have to rush to the bakery. The fridge was also stocked with cold drinks upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. If our travel plans bring us back to the area, we would definitely book this accommodation again. Highly recommend!

The villa was clean and comfortable and well equipped with shops in walking distance. The hosts were in touch regularly and helped with car hire and arranging transfers. The villa and pool were cleaned during our stay. We had a wonderful and relaxing break and particularly enjoyed being so close to the sea.

The house is as described. Perfect destination for a family if you want a more peaceful location for a vacation. The beach is wonderfully peaceful. Services are within a 5-15 minute walk. The owner greeted us when we arrived and told us how everything works. He had brought food to the fridge, a perfect start to the holiday! They were really friendly, helpful and guided when needed. I highly recommend it!

Adamantios is a wonderful host. The villa is beautiful and exactly as described in the photos. We were made to feel welcome straight away woth homemade cake and olive oil as well as other bits. Adamantios was quick to respond to any questions we had and jumped to our rescue when our rental car battery died! The villa is t really walking distance to anywhere so my top recommendation would be to get a rental car with good AC! There are very few places around the area to park in the shade so if you have rubbish AC like we did, the journeys can be stressful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of space from the business of local areas and wanting to switch off at the gorgeous pool!

This villa is spaciois a d spotlessly clean and fully delivers on the pictures - we loved every moment of our stay. It’s like a small piece of heaven! Erini had made cake for us as we arrived in the middle of the night when no stores were open, so thoughtful. The villa is equiped with shampoo, Olive oil, tea and other things that you really appreciate as a guest - must say Erini is a perfect host with very good and responsive communication. Loads of things to do in the area around the villa (but you do need a car). That said, just go go go - you will not regret ir!

We we’re two families with toddlers who stayed at Frode’s house, and the house with all its amenities worked great for a fun, easy family friendly vacation. Frode was very easy and quick to communicate with, both before and during the stay, and was very friendly and helpful when we need it. Can absolutely recommend this host and house! 😄

Our stay at the Moundros luxury villa was a perfect place for the five of us girls to feel like we are at a private retreat. It was easy to get around with a car and the hosts were very helpful when it came to any recommendations. the home was super nice and clean and had the best views. the restaurant down the street is absolutely delicious. Meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were my favorite but you can’t go wrong with anything! We were able to easily explore the other parts of Crete and got the best of the mountain side and the city side. would highly recommend staying in this villa!

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We had the most dreamy of times at the villa! Maria gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home right away. We loved her hospitality and proactive hosting, giving us tips and recommendations of places to visit in the area. The place provided everything one could wish for, from pristine looking rooms to hammam showers, a fine gas bbq and shaded terrace, glorious swimming pool, comfy sofa and a kitchen chefs would enjoy. The surroundings are to die for. Sinuous roads and endless sea views, unique beaches, but also mountain hikes, gorges and wine tastings not far at all (car is a must). Closest taverna has delicious food. Agia Galini is a short drive away and offers all essentials should you need to shop, eat out, find an atm or go on a fishing boat trip. Thanks again for a fantastic stay! We will be back sooner than later!

We stayed for 1 week (4adults and 4 kids) having been to Crete a number of times before. The villa was up in the hills (you need to hire a car to get anywhere and driving on the small lanes is not for the faint hearted) but this gave us the beautiful views over the bay and a lovely sea breeze. The house was immaculate with all the essentials and mod cons including chilled filtered water from the fridge. The ice machine didn’t work so one of the team popped around with a big bag of ice the next day which we used instead. We also experienced a sandstorm (happens about once a year) with Saharan sand being deposited on everything. The cleaners were around the next morning and the pool was cleaned beautifully. The pool itself was heated to a lovely temperature so the kids could enjoy it all day and the hot tub was even warmer so the perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks. We used the outdoor built in barbecue and sat outside for dinners (great views). Karolina was very responsive! Recommend!

We came here as a family as we were getting married in rethymno. We loved our stay here. The villa is clean, modern and very comfortable- especially the beds! Air con in each room was very effective and quiet. The kids loved playing in the outdoor area and the pool. Great views! The hill was abit steep but very do-able. Communication was great! The owner was lovely and was so kind! They even have a baby gate to the stairs so that we can relax in the living and kitchen area, big bonus for us! We would love to stay here again.

Great stay in a quiet and sublime space. The property is impeccable, with excellent service by the owner who welcomed us with open arms with a service that allowed us to arrive without having to do any shopping before arriving. Always helpful and attentive to tenants, who directly told us about the activities and businesses in the area. Perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend it.

The villa owners and Etouri team redefined what it means to be a host. We were blown away by how they went above and beyond in so many ways, from surprising us with a traditional Greek dish on arrival and gifting us various fruits, olive oil and tea, to organising a delicious freshly made birthday cake and candles for my Mum’s big day. Chrysoula from Etouri also deserves her own shout out. She helped me track down some tofu (I’m vegetarian) as they don’t sell it in many local supermarkets, and even dropped off her own personal training weights for my sister, who was looking for a nearby gym to keep training while on holiday. We truly felt so welcome and celebrated. It felt as if we were relatives who had returned home after a long time being away. We could tell just how much joy the owners get from treating their guests well. To them, we weren’t just guests. We were family. It was beautiful to witness from start to finish. I highly recommend booking.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 dog. We are very satisfied with the villa and would love to come back next year. The villa has a private pool and a private entrance to the beach. However, water at the beach was dirty most of the time and wasn’t really comfortable to swim there with a baby, also because of the rock bottom, so we were driving to different public beaches. You must have a car, because due to the weather conditions it wasn’t possible to us to walk anywhere near.

Super sweet people. Everything was well arranged. Despite the sandstorm, they really gave top service. We even got pizza as an apology while they couldn't do anything about it. Very sweet. Definitely a villa to go to once.

Very nice reception, warm hosts who answered all questions immediately. The house is beautiful and lovingly furnished. Just like in the photos. A wonderfully beautiful pool with plenty of seating and lounging options can be found. The pebble beach is directly about 50 meters in front of the house. A beautiful sandy beach is just a 10-minute walk away. The city of Rethymnon is in approx. 15-20 minutes by car. We highly recommend the place. Thanks again to the hosts.

this is a great Villa to stay at in central Crete that made it easy to branch off to many other areas of the island the best part was the Villa itself with its swimming pool and the views. great place to stay close to the small village of margarite. highly recommend it's got to be one of the best places to stay in all of Crete. Michalis was a great representing host.

We stayed for 2 weeks at Inn Villa in Sfakaki in August. Weather was beautiful and the pool was very much needed in the hot weather. The Villa is lovely! Kitchen is well equipped with every possible appliance and cooking utensil. The filtered cold water machine was a lifesaver! The BBQ area is amazing in the evenings. The owner kindly installed the electric spit roast so we slow roasted a chicken and it was divine! The owner Nikoleta was wonderful. Messaged throughout the holiday to check if we needed anything. The pool was cleaned every other day so always looked perfect. Beach towels and pool towels are provided, and some inflatables Thalassis restaurant 15 mins walk away, Greek Dancing on Wednesdays! lots of fun!! The local supermarket has everything you need but is more expensive than Lidl. Visit Margarites - 20 mins away! Beautiful! ❤️ The Villa is 1 hour from Heraklion and Chania and 45 mins from the South coast so car is essential but definitely worth it 👍 Great Villa!!❤️❤️
