Staying with Charles and Diane was more than just a getaway — it felt like being welcomed into a friend’s home. From the start, they made it clear: this is your home while you’re here. Diane is incredibly kind — she made sure we were well-fed, gave us full access to the kitchen, and never let us lift a finger. Charles’s knowledge of the Smoky Mountains was invaluable. He guided us to serene hikes away from crowds and even captured beautiful moments of my partner and me that we’ll always treasure. And the food — unforgettable. Charles’s quiche alone is worth the trip, and yes, the pancakes are orange-infused and absolutely perfect. Their warmth, care, and attention to every little detail made this one of the most meaningful travel experiences we’ve had. We left with full hearts, wonderful memories, and new friends. Can’t wait to return.

We came here for a stay, after horseback riding with Nicole in November, because we fell in love with the farm and the peacefulness. The farm is beautiful and the perfect place to get away. The octagon room was perfect for the two of us and the views are beautiful! The deck was great for relaxing and looking at the mountains. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but close enough to visit, this is the place for you! Totally recommend!!

The location was absolutely beautiful and the staff were all wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect! I highly recommend this location.

Lemuels communication was awesome. The place was peaceful and we loved seeing the horse on the property. I will say it does need a few update items like a new lamp shade, the one there is all torn. New curtains on the doors, they are worn and you can see light through them. Other than that it was fine. Thank you

I’ve been there many times and we always enjoy it, the breakfast, the friendliness of the staff, the quiet neighborhoods soo beautiful and peaceful!! I can’t wait to come back.

Can’t say enough great things about our stay. Check in was super easy we were greeted by the host upon arrival and she assisted us to the inn and walked us to our room. The room was just as pictured and clean throughout. we took a walk around the farm and took in the sites and of course ran into Spot who was super friendly!!! The chapel on the farm was very beautiful. The bed in our room was super comfy, and the pillows were fantastic. Best night of sleep I’ve gotten in a while. At 9 o’clock the next morning, our breakfast was delivered to the room and was absolutely delicious. Checkout was a breeze. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!!!

Great place to stay to get away from the noise and busyness of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. The room was cozy. Hosts were friendly. The breakfast was delicious. And the view, I couldn't get over the gorgeous view from the back porch. It was such a relaxing and peaceful stay. I highly recommend.

Beautiful drive up Wears highway to location. Easy to find, well maintained with great curb appeal. Comfortable room where I felt safe traveling as a single senior women...would return if back in the area.

Janice was a lovely host and excellent chef. She spent time chatting with us over the delicious breakfast she'd prepared and took the time to show me all the rooms in the main lodge so that I could plan for future visits.

Wow. What a wonderful experience. My mother and I stayed here for a night while passing through the area and we were absolutely blown away by Janice's incredible hospitality. We stayed in a lovely room in one of the wooden lodges, with a creekside view. The next morning, Janice brought us the most delicious meal right to our door: fresh peaches, grilled corn with mint and butter, warm scones, quiche with veggies from the garden, and thick sliced bacon. We loved talking with Janice and learning about her experience being an innkeeper for the last 25 years. Overall we wholeheartedly recommend this experience to all who are considering staying here, and we wish we had been able to stay longer. We'll certainly be back!

We loved our stay, and will definitely go back next time we're in the area. The evening desserts were a special touch, and the family-style breakfast arrangement was an added blessing. Thank you for your lovely hospitality.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Mountain Mist. We regret not booking a few more days. This was our first time, the staff was great and very accommodating. The breakfast each morning was homemade and so delicious. The evening desserts were fabulous. The location was very accessible and just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We are definitely going to return, hopefully soon. Thank you Blue Mountain Mist:)

A quiet quaint hidden gem located on the river… just perfect for no crowds and peace and serenity!!! Just the right amount of rooms….nestled off the main road away from noise!!! Very convenient to everything you need!! Can’t wait to go back in the fall!! Very affordable rates!!!

We stayed 4 nights at Creekwalk Inn over the Memorial Day weekend. Immediately upon arriving, we were greeted by our host for a quick briefing about our stay. Although, we did not stay in the main house, we were greatly impressed with our suite, Abrams Falls, which was privately tucked away in a nearby cabin on the property. The room was beautifully decorated in rustic decor and was very comfortable & clean. We were also pleased to find the use of linens and glass drink ware in place of the standard paper towels & plastic cups. At first glance, we were awestruck by the decor and the cozy atmosphere surrounding it. Our host was prompt to check-in with us to ensure that we had everything we needed. Everything about this trip was incredible, but nothing tops the gourmet “farm-to-table” breakfasts that were delivered directly to our door at 9am every morning. From the presentation to the variety of dishes, these were hands down the BEST meals we’ve had the pleasure of eating. *5 STARS*

Audrey and Eddie were outstanding hosts. They were most accommodating to our late arrivals both on Friday night and Saturday night. They have a beautiful home and their place was immaculate. Audrey prepared an amazing breakfast and we got to know them more on a personal level eating breakfast with them. I would highly recommend Staying with them. They are both very down to earth people and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay last weekend. We will definitely look to stay with them again when in the Knoxville area in the future.

We enjoyed our stay so much! This historical beautiful home was stunning! It was comfortable and peaceful and beautiful! I loved sitting on the porch sipping coffee and walking the farm taking in the beautiful views. I loved sitting anything rich with history and this place didn’t disappoint! Syresa was knowledgeable about the history and shared some books about the house and families that built it. The will be staying there again! Friendly and very welcoming family!

We absolutely loved the cozy fire pit, the peaceful riverfront view just steps from our back door, and the overall sense of safety and tranquility. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. And having a charming coffee shop nearby was the perfect touch. Everything about our stay was thoughtfully curated for rest and refreshment. We’ll definitely be returning to the Blue Heron—again and again!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Janice’s farm. Such a beautiful property surrounded by nature. The rooms and the whole interior design had a very cozy atmosphere to them. Janice welcomed us for our check-in and was really sweet and friendly. We’re definitely coming back!

This was our fourth time staying at Blue Heron Inn and as always the place was wonderful! We absolutely love this “no frills” inn. It offers all the peace and quiet you could want, and the location is absolutely perfect if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (entrance is only a few miles away). The inn sits right above the Little River and there’s plenty of outdoor seating to sit and watch the river babble and forget about the world. Our room was clean and had all the amenities you need in a hotel-type room (towels, Keurig, clean linens). There is also some amazing breakfast provided at the Towns End Coffee Shop on-premises (perhaps my favorite part). This trip we had some really bad weather (high winds and tornado warnings). Our host messaged us to let us know it was coming and offered assistance to us in the event of an emergency. It was greatly appreciated! We already can’t wait for our fifth stay!

Breakfast was awesome. Shower and claw foot bathtub were very nice! Bed was super comfy. Nice little cabin!
