Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Serra

Incredible location within the castle walls. The restaurant right next door was excellent, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. David was responsive to all of our questions and everything was clean and comfortable. It was great to have a private garage as well. The only negative was a neighbor's dog who barked all night. This is not David's fault and was mitigated with some ear plugs. Overall, highly recommended!

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Luiz and his wife were excellent hosts. Always eager to help. Place was very clean, Gates and cozy inside. Big terrace with great view. Felt like home away from home

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

Beautiful space, surrounded by nature, rustic cottage in great condition, very friendly and always helpful hosts, made us feel at home. I couldn't fail to mention the friendly Nougat, the friendly farm dog, and the donkey Serafim. Very quiet place, allows you to relax. I highly recommend it.

Such a wonderful place! Cosy and quiet. It was the perfect place to unwind and Vitor was a gracious and helpful host.

It was an amazing stay. João's space breathes tranquility. Located a few meters from the water, fun is always guaranteed if you are a fan of water sports. A swimming pool fulfills the purpose and a barbecue invites you to spend time with family or friends with the wonderful view of the dam. João did everything to make sure we had a great stay. Host and his wife was very friendly and very helpful throughout the entire stay. We were there not quite a month and really enjoyed the location and amenities nearby, while also being convenient to other attractions and major cities such as Porto and Lisbon. The National Park and surroundings were just beautiful. The accommodation was very comfortable and as described. We felt very much at home there and there were many stores nearby for groceries and shopping. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay and the view was unbeatable! We especially appreciated the great restaurants within walking distance.

Filipa's house seemed very cozy to us, it has a super nice attic and a spectacular terrace with stunning views, it is very bright and in the mornings and the evenings cold enough, the area has a very good weather. The residential is super quiet and has a pool,in addition to 10 minutes there is a river beach with all kinds of services, a bar, wc, kayak and a pool on the river!!! One of the days we went hiking to the convent do cristo de Tomar, a visit that is definitely worth a fantastic vacation.

This place is amazing, the views are incredible, unfortunately the weather didn't allow is make use the pool whilst we were there but even without this we had 3 lovely relaxing nights here. Eric is friendly and helpful and we loved the visits from the dogs as we were missing our own at home. Casa zen is perfect for relaxing and winding down, the accommodation is spotless and the location is beautiful

We stayed at Liedewij's & Joey's place on the last few days of the year, and it was absolutely wonderful! They are incredibly nice, made us feel at home, and even invited us to their new year celebration. The place is embedded in nature, perfect to regenerate for a few days. One of the best if not the best place, my children did not want to leave, the space is beautiful, the house is extremely comfortable, the leisure area is impeccable, Mrs. Nikola was extremely attentive and welcoming, always responded when we had any questions! We had a truly authentic Portuguese experience at Jorge’s! Highly recommend! Jorge and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They were so sweet, prepared Christmas treats and gifts for us which we appreciate very much. The apartment is comfortable, pristine clean, very well equipped and centrally located just a short ride away from Leiria. We felt right at home quickly and spent many hours on the patio soaking in the sun and the gorgeous view of the village. It is easy to explore Cortes and the surrounding area on foot. Check out the well designed casa-museu Joao Soares and historic church just next door. It was convenient to have the grocery store within walking distance. We met many friendly locals in the village even tho we did not speak Portuguese. Could not ask for a more perfect vacation. Muito obrigado!!

The house is wonderful :) all the support from Susana and Mr. Nuno was exceptional! Nothing was missing! Extremely clean house with everything you need to spend a relaxing family vacation, close enough to visit Tomar and go shopping, and far enough away to be in the quiet of the countryside. For sure, repeating it!!

We were very satisfied, especially the great garden and billiards room were great. The house is in a very quiet area, you could listen to the birds chirping. Overall a very spacious place to stay, we were satisfied.

We were extremely well received and received the best instructions and welcome! The interior space is comfortable and the garden is relaxing and beautiful. Exactly what we and our 3 dogs needed: a weekend of rest and connection with nature. I highly recommend it!

I spent a weekend at Margarita's place and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is clean, bright, nicely furnished, with a large kitchen and outdoor dining area that's lovely in the evenings. It's in a small village so obviously you shouldn't expect everything in the world at your doorstep, but that's part of the point. There's a little cafe in town with Benfica TV (came in handy this past weekend) and a supermarket an eight minute drive away. It was a bit chilly so I didn't spend a ton of time in the pool but in warmer weather, it would be a great place to hang out with friends and relax. Great value for money, excellent communication, easy check in and check out, I highly recommend Margarida's.
