Chicken house dome

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful, peaceful, unique little chicken house dome, clearly built with love by Doug. Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and everything you could need is provided for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. Host was super friendly and responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touches leaving us fresh milk, Welsh cakes etc! Would definitely stay again if we were in Brecon - thanks so much Doug and Judy 😊

Cosy riverside annexe

Jonathan JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful little annex brimming with character and in a picturesque location. I could not have asked for anything more for our relaxed weekend away. Perfect for walkers, stargazers (as we were) and anyone looking to get away from it all in the Welsh countryside.

Auld Ffynnon, Trecastle, Brecon Beacons.

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Venetia and her husband were great hosts, left us alone for the week but always ready to give advise and provided a map to help with our navigation. On arrival to the lovely accommodation which was immaculate, local biscuits and cake were waiting for us and every thing was provided to make our stay comfortable. The weather wasn't great but we managed to get out and about visiting, Brecon the four waterfalls, Red Kites and a Nature Reserve to name a few. This was our first visit to the Brecon Beacons, having been to most areas in Wales and we loved it, with lots of places to visit either walking or driving and lots of eating places. Overall this was a great stay and we shall return. Thank you Venetia for helping to make this a lovely Holiday. Chris and Lorraine

Bwthyn y Bannau(BooThin Uh Ban I)

Wow what a wonderful stay in the heart of the Brecon Beacons! Very cosy and comfortable little cottage in a very picturesque setting with great views over to Pen Y Fan. Hot tub was a very welcome bonus, looking out over the hills, perfect end to a long day's hike. Owner was very nice and helpful, with great communications. Would highly recommend for a solo traveller or couple wanting a cosy base to explore the Beacons.

Huw’s Hut @ Penwern...a delightful escape

HollyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great spot for a birthday weekend (even with the hiking) Stayed at Huw’s Hut for my partner’s birthday and had a brilliant weekend. Julie was a lovely host — friendly, easy to communicate with, and everything was exactly as described. The hut is in a peaceful spot with great views. We (read: *he*) decided that climbing Pen y Fan, Cribyn, and Corn Du counted as “birthday fun” — I went along with it, but the hot tub was my real reward. It was perfect even in the rain — warm, relaxing, and well worth firing up after a long day on the hills. Cozy space, great location, and a memorable stay. Would happily return — ideally with fewer uphill miles next time.
