Water is collected from the faucet on the porch. The cabin does not have a bathroom as there is no running water. Outdoor shower on the side of the cabin. Fireplace and lot wood in the "wood arch". Garden furniture, gas barbecue and outdoor fireplace on the terrace. Fishing opportunities and great areas for berry picking. This is a cabin with simple standard for those who want peace and quiet, or want to explore Telemark's great nature.

Welcome to the farm here at our place. The old cozy log house is idyllically situated to the sun-away on our farm grounds, the large open outdoor areas. Flatdal is a very good starting point for good hiking, long and short bike and car ride. The house has two bedrooms, a bright and delicious living room with dining nook, fireplace, view out towards the tuna and the village. Although the hand-held house is old, it has inlaid electricity, water, heaters, kitchen and bathroom with shower. A quiet and idyllic place for adults and children.

Log cabin with annex is rented out! The cabin is located at 700 mt.alt. in idyllic surroundings with a lot of sun and nice nature. There are also great hiking opportunities in the umiddebal vicinity! There are good fishing opportunities and nice ski terrain just outside the cabin. The cabin is located about 3 miles from Seljord city centre and about 3 miles from Rauland. There is a heater and firewood available for firing. There is also an outdoor shower. Bed linen and sheets must be brought, or purchased for 100kr per person.

The main floor consists of entrance and living room with cozy wood stove. Bedroom with bunk bed, 120 cm below and 75 cm above. Bathroom with sink and shower with entrance from the bedroom. Living room and kitchen in one, with fridge, electricity and a small dorm stove. Outhouse only. Fishing included. Terrace with table, chairs and coal grill. No water! Must bring water, towels and linens yourself.

The cottage is a restored stable that has been converted into a small apartment. It is a bedroom with two large beds , and in the train with the kitchenette , there is a double sofa bed. So there is bed space for 6 people. The house is located in the middle of the yard with several protected buildings around .Me has sheep , hens, pigs, rabbits , ducks , cat and dog. Sandbox and trampoline. It is nice to hike the many tractor roads in our forest. In the winter you can throw it on the ground.

By boat belonging to the cabin Can rent bed linen and towel. Grocery store in Flatdal that is open 7 days a week 25 km from. Also 24-hour shop in Åmotsdal 30 km from the cabin. 30 km to Rauland.

Secret log cabin at a height above Seljord

Travel back in time and enjoy the peace and quiet that this cozy cabin has to offer. It is located in the forest at a height above Seljord in beautiful Telemark with no other cabins around. From the (free) parking space you must walk 1, 2 km unmarked roads and trails which are sometimes steep and demanding. If you like to hike and surround yourself with nature you will love this cabin. Pack efficiently, put on some good shoes and enjoy!

A lovely, relaxing holiday in the mountains. Perfekt for x-country skiing and hiking. Great for trips to Gaustatoppen, named the most beautiful mountain in Norway. Three bedrooms. A large, cozy fire place in the living room, and a large terrace for cold beverages and hot cocoa in the sun after some outdoor fun. A nice walk from Tuddal Høyfjellshotel with a great cafe and restaurant. Close to lake perfekt for swimming on hot days.

Idyllic cabin by the water with private jetty. Beautiful nature with good hiking opportunities on foot, by bike and on skis right outside the cabin. There are also nice fishing opportunities. Small fish straight from the jetty. There is a canoe and a rowing boat that can be borrowed. We have a Weber gas grill that can be used.

We had a very nice week in Terje's home. The house was nice and lived up to the description. We were 6 adults and 2 children, it worked really well, several had probably been a little cramped 😄 Terje gave really nice instructions, and it was easy to get in with the key box. The place was easy to find, if you just remember to read the fine instructions and not just follow google maps, because then you end up a little too far up. 😆 We had brief contact with Terje during the stay, due to problems with a bathroom, which was quick and nice response. Very nice place, super good as a base for motorcycle holidays as we used it for. We'd love to come again!

The 'hytte' is fantastic, very comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking. There are many little streams gurgling by, one about five feet from the porch. We had a fire pit and watched the blue slowly drain from the sky. There are three bed rooms so you can bring a large crew. We recommend it highly!

What a fantastic place. Our family of ten had lots of sleeping options. I was hesitant at first, but staying at Bente’s place was a comfortable and unique experience that our family will remember forever. Bente is very sweet and flexible. We came late at night and she was there to greet us. There is so much pure positive energy here. You can feel it all around you. The views are also spectacular and we even got to pick blueberries and raspberries. :-)

Great hiking nearby (the Lårdalstigen or the 6km loop that starts on Støylsdalen to the lookout are recommended). The canal boat stops in nearby Dalen or Lårdal but not in Bandaksli (the pier next to the cabin). The road along the Bandak from the cabin to Dalen is scenic and worth a drive or cycle as well.
