The house is modern, single-story and embraces the entire surroundings. On the slab of the house you will find a mural by the Argentine artist Tomas Facio, the work “Douro Paisagem Humana”. This mural is intended to honor the sacrifice of all the people of Douro who, with their hands, shaped the landscape of this wonderful region.

Casa do Douro is part of a group of houses located in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.
