Aurrekoetxe is a typical Basque farmhouse in the Mañaria area that is over 300 years old. Located below Mount Mugarra, on its southern face, it is surrounded by nature adjacent to the Urkiola Natural Park and just 2 km from the urban center of Mañaria. I live with my mother and my two daughters aged 14 and 11 in the same building but with another separate entrance, respecting the privacy of the guests and our own. The apartment has a very well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace, which we did not need due to the high temperatures. However, since the apartment is very cool, this could probably be necessary outside of the summer. The host David is extremely friendly and helpful, we definitely felt very comfortable!

We felt super comfortable at Fernando's. The views from the terrace are stunning and the two-story apartment is wonderful. You can also hike directly from the apartment, the path to the alpine hut on the high valley, from where you can take various wonderful paths, is recommended. Fernando was incredibly helpful. We had to change our rental car and he came up several times with the drivers. Absolute dream accommodation with wonderful host!

From booking to arriving Nerea was very helpful and we had to make a few alterations of which she was great to deal with, responded to my queries and put us at ease. On arrival we were met by her Father who is a very nice man and he showed us around, what everything does and where everything was, we also asked some advice about our journey and he was very helpful, obviously a bit of a language barrier but he was patient, understanding and helpful. The house itself is set in such a beautiful location, the scenery is breath-taking and we felt at home straight away, everything you need is a drive away but easy. I would highly recommend, a superb Host and a superb property Would most defiantly look at re visiting again and would have no hesitation in booking here again.

The apartment is beautifully designed and located in an excellent area. Communication with the owner was smooth and pleasant. My parents and I really enjoyed our stay and are already wishing to come back in the near future. A slightly lower cost would make it even more attractive, but given the location and the quality of the facilities, the price is understandable.

Spectacular accommodation and I felt completely at home, Elias and his wife are very kind, they make everything very clear. I loved the stay and it is a very spacious and comfortable house. It has things like an Alexa or the Smart TV that I liked a lot and the beds to rest are very comfortable. Also, there is food and other things in the kitchen that makes it easier to be there. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
